    I have no real idea why they're doing that. It could be to calm people down. How can we know for sure?

    There are plenty of people who are claiming the virus is not dangerous or it's no big deal. I've seen a lot of posts that suggest that, and I've talked to people who say that. Please understand that my comments were not aimed at you.

    I'm sorry, Italy is reclassifying? I read the article you linked, but did not see anything about Italy actually planning to change how they are classifying things. Can you please link and quote the relevant portions where the Italian government, or officials in charge of making such choices have stated this plan to reclassify?

    Second, regardless of classification, how do you account for not only the spike in COVID-19 classified deaths relative to what the norm would be this time of year in Italy, but indeed all deaths:

    I just noticed that India is not reporting anything. Are they going to be secretive like China, or do they not have the infrastructure to gather the data? I imagine getting totals out of their slums will be a monumental task.

    I imagine it would be quite a task. They may not have the infrastructure to do all that. But the desire to control how people react may be a big part of the problem. Imagine a government telling the people they can't handle the situation.

    Their medical science officer Dr. Walter Ricciardi has done the reclassifying.

    Chinese garment workers (there are 300,000 living in northern Italy) travelled to Wuhan for a festival and returned to Italy spiking infections. Italy’s population is 23% over 70 IIRC. In the US that is 16%.

    I believe you are incorrect. I tried to search and verify your claim and this is the best I could find. Italy is not reclassifying, nor is Professor Ricciardi, who is a scientific advisor to Italy's minister of health, advocating that Italy reclassify the cause of death.

    Federalist contributor and OAN host agree that Italy may be “greatly inflating” its COVID-19 death toll

    It is clearly stated above in the article I posted. The total number remains the same but 88% died with Coronavirus not because of Coronavirus.

    It seems to me that in order to validate those numbers, we need to be able to show that those people would have died even without the virus.

    The story is a little bit different in Colorado.
    The Australian groups brought the Virus to Aspen, Pitken county.
    It spread from there to the surrounding counties.
    It was the reason our Governor shut down the ski resorts.
