A man running out of a bank with alarms bells ringing, holding sacks of cash, covered in blood, hasn't done anything illegal that you know of. Presidents aren't elected to oversee the health of the nation. They are elected for their ideology. Those who work for the president are there to implement the President's ideology. Period. If they don't like it, they quit and go off in silence unless they're actually asked to commit an actual crime.

Let's be a bit more precise since "corruption" is subjective now a days. They said he didn't commit any crimes that they are aware of. They thought what he did was inappropriate, but no crime that they know of.

 

Can't quite agree here. While yes they are elected based on thier ideology people believe it's that ideology that is best for the health of the country. The Presidents job is most certainly to do what's best for the country... even if that means going against the will of the people.

So, because he uses his free speech to label the press fake news that stops the press from performing their job? I don't think you know what free speech means. While the Press can certainly ask questions, no one has to answer their questions. The right to free speech includes the right to shut up. The right to free speech also involves the right to criticize the press, including calling them fake news. Neither stops the press from doing anything that they want. Including exercising their own free speech.

Yup, Trump is the first president who was impeached without citing one single crime that he supposedly committed. He was impeached over nothing but pure speculation, and assumptive opinions. The vote to impeach was a completely one-sided partisan Democratic Partly line vote, by bitterly partisan House of Representatives. The vote NOT to impeach was the bipartisan one.
