The problem is that doesn't take into account what the Fed dollars are being spent on.....,military bases? Federal prisons? national parks etc......it would be better understood if that was broken down. We know for example, most federal welfare is spent in Cali...

 

That would be largely for two reasons, 1st most of them were run by Democrats until about 25 years ago, and 2nd most of the difference comes from the fact that red States have most of the active military bases.

 

That's an interesting comment given that most of the attacks from the left indicate that had they been in power they believe they would have been.

 

nope. it's due to the fact that blue states are much more populated, and have much better GDP than red states. Largely due to red state policies. See Governor Brownbacks great "Kansas experiment" for a direct result of republican economic policies.

 

In fact Kansas was better off than it used to be it is predominantly rural and agricultural. It's never been rich and it's never going to be rich.

 

By the way most of those tax dollars come into help fund federal programs that those states can't afford and don't want anyway

And "political threats" against the guy on top is as old as humanity. Most of those at the top realized that returning fire only legitimizes the original sender.
