Good Job Bill De Blasio, New York has 103,000 Cases of Coronavirus and the next closest state is New Jersey with approximately 30,000. He and his Liberal ways encouraged citizens in New York to ignore Coronavirus warnings and Social Distancing and to keep going out and socializing. Take New York out of the Picture and the United States would have around 170,000 cases of Coronavirus instead of the current 273,000. The Top 5 States for Coronavirus cases are all Liberal Democrat Hell Holes and that's not a coincidence, it's their Policies that have made America the Country with the largest amount of Coronavirus in the World. Italy has 119,827 cases of Coronavirus, those Top 5 Liberal Blue States account for 167,111 cases of Coronavirus, which is 47,284 more cases of Coronavirus than Italy.

Would blood on his hands be the appropriate phrase?

Seems like a strong way to word it, but for some reason I feel like I've heard that term loosely used very recently, so i'm running with it.

Side note to all those big city folk that looked down on flyover country, we're all very glad we're not living there, and this just reinforces why. The big cities haven't really felt the pain yet, but they are going to very soon realize just how fragile their supply system is when it starts falling apart around them.

NYC government told everyone all though January and February the virus was no big deal. They encouraged people to get out of their homes and get together ... go to restaurants, museums, etc.

New York is the epicenter because New York is an epicenter for international travel and business....

It's not that hard to figure out, and it can be done without attempting to blame politicians who aren't responsible for people getting sick in the first place. This is no more sensible than blaming Trump for the virus.

We know, now, that we ALL should have been getting better prepared, from the individual level through all the different levels of government right up to Congress and the White House. We'll know that for the future.

When you have your Government leaders encouraging people to not worry and go out and Party, IT IS THEIR FAULT. These 5 States have caused an Incredible problem for the rest of the United States.

This is far too logical, and there's not nearly enough hatred-driven emotion involved.

    Leftists will never accept it.

No, not really. The virus is everywhere now and was and would be regardless. Nothing short of a complete and total shutdown of interstate travel and commerce combined with firm and enforced stay-at-home orders in every state would have worked to keep the spread from being everywhere.

But stopping the spread was never the goal, because it's not remotely realistic. Slowing the spread, however, is entirely achievable.

I definitely don't disagree that some public officials, Trump included, made huge mistakes by downplaying it the way they did, and some even continued it after Trump himself changed his tune.

But there is an element of responsibility that falls on the people, too. Not everybody is taking the isolation seriously, younger folks especially. And it's not a result of ignorance, it's a result of apathy.

Bill De Blasio was a Democratic candidate for President, the WHOLE! United States would be like New York City had he been President. Good riddance he's not President, but you see the amount of damage Liberals can cause when they are running a City like New York.

I believe it was on 3-13 that trump declared this pandemic a "national emergency". Trouble is no one told him what that meant. National emergencies are handled on a national level and that means the White House. After being president for three years he's still fooling some people. This whole matter has been his opportunity to show us and the world what a total doofus he is.

Several Democrat states have issued orders to forcefully seize medical equipment and supplies from those who have them and whom "authorities" decide don't need them.

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/nj-go...e-to-seize-ventilators-and-masks_3297267.html

Now let me ask you a question.......

If you were a manufacturer or distributor, and you dealt in a commodity LIKELY to be confiscated at every emergency.......how likely would you be to continue manufacturing or dealing in that particular commodity?
If it were me, I'd get out of that business as fast as possible and move to production or distribution of items NOT likely to be confiscated at some "authorities" whim.

As always, the absolute ignorance of many on the left to understand how supply and demand works is astonishing.

The result of this will be that FAR less ventilators and urgently needed medical supplies will be available next go round.

Capitalism may not always foster the kindest most generous people, but it ALWAYS fosters an abundant supply chain and availability of essentials. Choose.

Remove the Top 5 WORST! states for Coronavirus out of the United States you'd take 202454 cases ( 2/3 ) out of 337,000 Total in the USA and 6520 Coronavirus Deaths out of a USA Total of 9624. New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Louisiana and California ALL! have Democratic Governors. Yeah! the Democrats have done a BANG UP job of controlling the Covid-19 Outbreaks in their States, but point Fingers at President Donald Trump for the Blame. The United States would still be BAD! but we'd be a Hell of a lot Better if the Democratic Governors had done a better job of getting a Handle on this Bug from the beginning.

Cuomo spent $750 million on solar power after being offered a deal on respirators. While hindsight is always 20/20, after H1N1 and Ebola resupplying respirators seem to be the natural priority........unless one is getting a big kickback.
