Alright, I've looked at the tape. Trump was foolish to step in, but I think that he is just sick of the media trying to set up the argument that Fauci and Trump CURRENTLY have contradictory positions on the drug.

Do you have OTHER examples of Trump stepping in on Fauci other than this one?

By "influence", do you mean that people TRUST Trump more than experts? Or do you mean that he has bigger REACH?

Only Democrats think that. The rest of the world blames China.

In Japan, Taro Aso, the deputy prime minister and finance minister, recently noted that some people have started referring to the World Health Organization as the “Chinese Health Organization” because of what he described as its close ties to Beijing. Taiwanese officials say the W.H.O. ignored its early warnings about the virus because China refuses to allow Taiwan, a self-governing island it claims as its territory, to become a member.

Even as late as mid-January, as the virus spread beyond China’s borders, Chinese officials described it as “preventable and controllable” and said there was no evidence it could be transmitted between humans on a broad scale.

Nothing close to how far Donald was off.
    So you know. Just petty.

And I noticed. Nowhere does it say in the OP when she said it. Nowhere does it say when the ship arrived. They do make it seem that she said it when the ship was already there. Very dishonest.

Nobody would have cared if the headline was that Maddows was wrong by 1 week. Nobody.

Dance and dodge all you want she once again has egg all over her face, Maddow was wrong by "weeks" and made a fool out of herself once again. Has she apologized for the scare she put into all those people in New York? No, she's not man enough to do that.

It was december the 30th or something near that date that the Chinese doctor who found that virus, notified his colleagues that something was up. At that time, he did not know what it was. It's INSANE to claim the government knew everything before the 1st doctor found this virus. Just INSANE. It takes weeks to figure out what it is, where it comes from, and how do you get it. It might have been spreading by mosquito's for all they knew. Hence your claim is a fake.

You previously claimed the prohibition of traveling is unconstitutional, while a simple curfew does. I don't need to prove this ever happened on a federal level. A local curfew would still mean that its not unconstitutional. And you claimed that it was. You're obviously wrong.

Not relevant. Trump is still primarily responsible for listening to the wrong people and making wrong calls because of that.

So when it's really dry, but than this luscious rain happens saving all the crops... we need to accept that Donald takes credit for that? Total joke.

I accept that you admit that Trump lied about this.

Not relevant. On the issue who has the influence, it's clearly Donald at HIS press conference.

How about you look this up, and come up with an argument for a change.

So now you just admitted that you got no clue what that word means.

She was hardly wrong. And it's not in the same ballpark as that lady at FOX whose show got axed, because she probably got fired.

She was completely wrong and looks like the fool because of it, reminds me of her Trump tax return fiasco.

You're simply refusing to compare it to Trish Regan, in order to judge how wrong she was.
    Very dishonest approach.

Why are you desperate to find some comparison as if it would mitigate Maddow's egg all over her face, which happens to still be there. Very dishonest approach.

BTW there is a thread on Regan if you want to discuss her and her firing.

How wrong somebody matters. And that is always relative compared to how wrong other are.

Well it depends on the subject. On the subject of epidemiology, it's clearly Dr Fauci who has the more influence, forgetting of course about Trump's stupidity in preventing him from answering that question - but he is otherwise free to talk.

Well because I know the answer! Your example of Trump stepping in on Fauci is clearly ALL that you have! (I just thought that I would give you a chance at stating another one!) :roflol:

This is getting ridiculous now. WHO HAS A BIGGER INFLUENCE ON YOU ON THE SUBJECT OF EPIDEMIOLOGY?

Yeah I'm sure that many people believed him, but what do you think these people did upon hearing what Fox said which led to the spread of the virus?

People read fake news all the time, and believe it... no matter what an expert has to say. Being an expert doesn't mean you have all that influence at all. Everybody knows this. :roflol:
And that Donald has way more followers who read what he has to say about it on twitter.
And that Donald has the main stage on press conferences in the WH, as well on his political rallies.
He is a guest on Fox news... most popular news tv media in the US.
Fox news also blasts his message all the time.
I sourced that Donald is in the top 100 most influential people.

    It's Donald of course.

You know that this guy was arrested don't you?

You don't suppose it was worth the Chinese government IMMEDIATELY looking into it instead of arresting the doctor?

A "simple curfew" doesn't COMPLETELY prevent travel does it?

No, I didn't say that a local CURFEW would be unconstitutional, I simply said that the Constitution ensures the right to travel. Anyway, why are you even talking about LOCAL governance? This part of our conversation started with you talking about FEDERAL governance, in criticising Trump for not enforcing travel restrictions on all states. Did it not suit your argument, so you had to talk about something completely different? Perhaps you now acknowledge that travel restrictions at the federal level are unconstitutional, so now you are focusing on the local level.

Anything good that happens in the country which is non-nature related, he can take credit for.

I do, and I accept that you admit that Trump is NOW on the same page as Fauci on the drug, given that you haven't been able to quote Trump from the past week saying something about the drug in contradiction to Fauci! Good that we're both admitting something which we would maybe rather not!

WTF? I'm not that one who is making the argument that it made people behave in a certain way! Clearly you don't actually have any thoughts about the way that it made people behave! :roflol:

Yes, people certainly believe fake news, but Trump SPEAKING is not fake news.

Correct. None of which is muzzling Fauci, which is what you are trying your best to say that Trump is doing to him!

:roflol: You're either being a complete and utter TROLL or you didn't read my question properly. I asked, who has a bigger influence on YOU PERSONALLY on the subject of epidemiology?

Did you know the US fired a captain of a aircraft carrier for the same reason?
Maybe China did. Didn't you look it up?

How about you look this up as well when you're at it.
It helps if you know what you're talking about.

Indeed. And I stated that the same constitution applies for a state as for federal government.

How about some guy winning the lottery. A happy thing. Also the credit of Trump?
People falling in love? Yeah.. that too?

You adore that guy like he's a God.
Like a North Korean looks at their beloved dictator.
    Totally indoctrinated. Got it.

Oh excuse me that Donald is a liar and flip flops around and occasionally has to tell the truth.

You previously said "I do" as a reaction to "I accept that you admit that Trump lied about this".
So no... Trump spreads fake news. You just admitted that in a previous post. Get over it.

He muzzled Faucci as the press conference in the WH. And all of that I mentioned in my previous post shows Donald has more influence. That's what we're dealing with.

No, he was fired for going outside of the chain of command, not for simply calling attention to a problem.

Why the hell would they looking into something that someone brought to their attention and was arrested for? Obviously they didn't want to know about it. You're pretty good at giving China a free pass - do you work the left-wing media by any chance?

I know that a "simple curfew" doesn't COMPLETELY prevent travel. I was just checking if you knew that, which I'm sure you do!

Sure, but another aspect of the Constitution affects the ability of the federal government to force states to do things - FEDERALISM.

Anything good that happens in the country from government action, he can take credit for.

So there would be zero difference between NO expert opinion in opposition to the fake news and SOME expert opinion in opposition to the fake news? In the absense of ANY expert opinion whatsoever, people would be more inclined to believe fake news.

Yes, for ONE SINGLE question! However, this is your ONLY example! :roflol:

Not specific to epidemiology. You avoided my final question, so it's clear that you are more influenced by Fauci on the subject of epidemiology but didn't want to admit it! And of course you are! You're not an idiot! So I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to admit to it! Saying that Trump influences you more on that subject would certainly be quite embarrassing! :roflol:
