Donald knows how to read a poll and the polls will say his handling of the virus stunk. His reaction will to remind the voters that he put Pence in charge, thank him for his service, and then dump him for someone else at the convention. It's what Donald does, blame others.
So far he has blamed just about everyone, including the Mueller report, Nancy Pelosi, the news media, the WHO, governors, mayors, hospitals.... He has claimed he has no responsibility in this. He is just a cheerleader, standing on the sidelines, cheering our country on. Yeah, go team! Go! We're number one! And all that.
"Polls" ROFL. One of "those" threads fun to add "spite likes" to in a few months. Keep up the magical thinking, though, it's almost endearing.
Pence was a superb choice for Trump right from the beginning, they work well together and he has done an incredible job during this pandemic, an event the world have NEVER seen before. One of the most important things for me is that the Trump Pence partnership have seen ordinary Americans looked after and cared for...not the corrupt and wealthy bankers. Families matter to Trump & Pence, they understand this is the heart of America.
LMAO...The Spanish flu? Remember that? How embarrassing. And Pence has turned into background furniture at the daily briefings after being chosen to head the coronavirus response team and then thrown under the bus because trump wants to use the briefings as his daily campaign rally and spout self serving bullshit and lies. The consensus around the world is that trump has made things worse. from the Wall Street Journal- https://edition.cnn.com/2020/04/10/...urnal-trump-coronavirus-task-force/index.html from Japan- https://japantoday.com/category/fea...deepens-trump-cycles-through-targets-to-blame from USA Today- https://eu.usatoday.com/story/opini...d-trump-leadership-failure-column/2888477001/ The examples are endless. From all sides of the political spectrum, except for the alt right of course, trump has been branded a self absorbed liar and an obstacle in the fight against the coronavirus.
Of course I feel sorry for Pence because he is getting the blame Meanwhile Jared is running a shadow covid 19 response team undermining everyone else https://www.theguardian.com/comment...-be-the-most-dangerous-man-in-the-us-covid-19
Or he just believes in delegating responsibility. What he should do is like Ol Mr. Obatard and just stare in the camera like a moron and tell the entire world "We found out the same what you 'all did, the media" what a dope!
It’s a possibility but he should toss Jared out. They’ve botched testing so badly that even if medical professionals believed we could gear-up the economy in a couple months we wouldn’t be prepared. He screws up everything he gets his hands on like his father-in-law.
Pence did much better than Trump at handling the virus... Trump doesn't like that Pence looked more presidential than him, shame on Pence
Well since we are having fun with jokes, here's one -- Trump will dump Pence and select Hillary as his VP running mate. Together they will garner 90% of the popular vote and 100% of the Electoral College vote. The MSM will gush over how smart Trump is and praise him for the next 4 years. They will become known as the DonHil Team.
Right now, I don't see it happening. If Pence were to start rising in the polls past Trump's numbers though, I could totally see Trump showing him the door, or at least really really wanting to. Everyone around Donald Trump needs to remember, above all else, above the good things the administration has done in this struggle against the virus and above the bad, that this is The Donald Trump Show. With our host Donald J. Trump. Brought to you by Donald J. Trump. Promotional considerations by Donald J. Trump. Written, directed, and produced by Donald J. Trump. Donald Trump Donald Trump is the president Donald Trump Donald Trump Donald Trump. There's only room for one name on that marquee and on that briefing stage. For the past few weeks I've been saying on here that Trump has a major opportunity to be remembered as a great leader and to actually BE that great leader during this crisis. He is, for the most part, choosing to do otherwise by turning what are supposed to be informative briefings about a national crisis into a campaign rally and an op-ed page.
You mean like when Trump dropped out of the 2016 election because polls said Hillary would win? Since when does Trump worry about fake polls?
He is at 45% today (according to RCP), which is higher than he's been at any time during his entire presidency with the exception of the last couple of weeks.... He has not even started campaigning while the left and MSM have never stopped trashing him since he came down that escalator in 2015. That now, with 16 million losing their jobs, the market losing 30% of its value and thousands dying daily he is able to maintain one of the highest job approval ratings of his presidency is amazing. Imagine his job approval by November, when people will be back to work, deaths from coronavirus will be minuscule, the economy and the markets will more or less recover and he will have spent $1 - 2 billion of campaign money touting his record of results and successes and exposing Biden as a senile, corrupt, creepy, swampy, useless vegetable that he is. Good luck.
At 44% there's no way a real election gets him elected. Ever see a President elected with that kind of number without a strong third party candidate running? Is there one of those? No? Which points out the fact that the "Corona bump" is gone...already
You should ask him. He's been getting unhinged as all that "fake" polling has shown his approval during this crisis dropping.
Oh and Trump has been at or above 44.9 numerous times https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html Being wrong never seems to phase you so....whatever
