Wait, this doesn't make any sense.
Let's just follow along with this conversation, for clarity's sake. You said this:

    Then Hawgsalot replied:

    To which you answered:

That is why I asked for a link. Obviously your story/facts are ever changing, flexible, adaptable. Your first claim is that "right wingers" (plural) just want to let old people die. When asked if your comment is based on the thread you said, "NOPE, they asked, WHY do we count the deaths of those over 80?" It's obvious now that you are just pulling it out of your ass or manufacturing it. In that thread ONE conservative called for it and got called for it by ANOTHER CONSERVATIVE.

In the same thread a liberal said that fat people should be allowed to die if they get the virus in rebuttal to the conservative. The conversation was a race to the bottom. Both points of view were morally unacceptable.

Now again, do you have a link or are you just pulling out of your ass? You know, manufacturing crap. I will wait.

You count sarcastic leftie comments as equally reprehensible to ORIGNAL sociopathic right wing comments.

Still no link. Still no answer that makes any sense. Still no proof. Still nothing accept empty manufactured garbage? Just deflecting red herring? Not surprised. Can't back up your argument. Just making it up as you go. A link. It's not hard. You made the argument so provide some proof.

    Signed,
    Still waiting.

can you name an area that doesn't have essential businesses open, that was not what they were referring too

that said, I do disagree with many in that I think states that are low would be better served with a slightly higher infection rate throughout this, vs one big one when we reopen - different states have to handle differently

I live in a state with a low rate, I hope when we reopen we do not get hit hard as I fear many states like ours will, then all we did is postponed it, not reduce the curve as was the goal

our republican Governor did not issue a lock down, but businesses and people pretty much did on their own, but would they have not been better off to wait till we had some cases first, then shut down to keep the curve down as sounds like everyone is gonna get this regardless, all we can control is how many at one time right now

all a game of chance, no one knows, maybe they come up with a cure or treatment or even a vaccine by next month

it's a tough one for Governor's, they can't just come out and say we want some of you to get infected, so we spread out the curve - it's easy to say we want to lower the curve once the infection hits, but raising it is harder to say when the rate is too low

It's all in mathematics. In order for Herd Immunity to truly take effect, it's suggested that 70% of the world's population has to acquire the virus(and at the very least that much of a nation's population.) That's why the flu had been mostly contained, we've all had it at least once.

So 'flattening the curve' isn't actually going to stop people from getting sick. It's going to prolong said sickness, in exchange for yes lower numbers. The alternative would be to bite that bullet, accept the rise in cases and that will get rid of hosts quicker(the sharp decline.)

Despite what you “think they were referring to here’s what they used as an example and it has nothing to do with what they want you to believe or in your case “think”. Perfect fake news example.

“Iowa, for instance, two separate Tysons food processing plants have also closed due to outbreaks that have so far caused the deaths of two workers.”

Scary indeed. When should we be expecting it to happen? I've only been watching the rural counties in my state, but we've had about two weeks since any sort of rural spike. And by 'spike' I mean, for example, my county, where we jumped from 10 to 15 in early april. We're at 14 now.

To be fair, our infection rate may be a bit higher than that, as I suspect some cases are being moved to bigger urban hospitals. But its not much bigger than that, otherwise there would be greater fluctuations in the day to day cases. But I'm checking every day and its only fluctuating by 1 confirmed infection, if at all. Most of the other counties with low population density are similar.

Trump needs to push these states to close down like he did Florida

He needs to marshal the forces it requires to massively boost testing.

Things need to be done and he's not doing them.

    There's nothing political about that.

It's just what needs to be done

One person says something and you paint millions with that one persons words.. How do we know you are not the same person.. I would hardly be the first time that tactic was used.
