And I agree with that, and it would contribute to immune system health. The social habits would play a role in the combination of factors that control the overall result.
As of today, Japans' case count is rapidly expanding, but I suspect will still beat most other nations.

True. The density, or population per square mile in their urban areas, is very high. It's obviously not the proximity that changed the profile there.

So Japan has been hit less hard because of DIET and not isolation?

    That's your claim?

Sorry but your whole post is bullshit! I have a hyperactive immune system, doctor proven, and I got the virus. Now it was of medium severity which I do ascribe to my immune system but it certainly did not protect me from infection.

please don’t make **** up. This is serious!

It's a plain, well-documented fact, not just a claim, that more obese people suffer more and more dangerously from COVID19. That's all about DIET and EXERCISE and reflects Japanese social policy of slimming waistlines thus staving off metabolic syndrome.

Well, that's one man's opinion and while it goes along with the OP to make a case, it does nothing (like the OP) to prove the case. Opinion, nothing more. As of now, social distancing is the answer. If not, and what you say is true that it has at best a very moderate effect........why do it?

Social distance does nothing other than prevent hospital overcrowding under ACCURATE models. Under wildly overexaggerated models such as those the incompetent, lying, stealing gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex scammed the public with, social distancing is a bad joke.

Here is a different interview of Dr. Wittkowski than the other one I've posted several times in several threads. ALWAYS ignored by LYING LW, LYING MSM, LYING gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex

Another excellent interview, a mixed bag of opinions compared to the Wittgowski interview, relating to this topic and many of the other LW "Orangemanbadplacard" topics on this forum and all over MSM:

Both of these interviews are accessible to average viewers, which means of course that the LW of this forum will ignore them, and remain utterly incapable of any adult response to them.

Really, how so? How did you come to that conclusion? Are they practicing social distance? Is it done nationally or by regions, like in the US? Like you said in the OP the Japanese are very health aware, are accustomed to wearing masks etc, so extreme measures would not be a problem in their culture.

Yep. After weeks of having Fauci & Birx basically tell us that social distancing only exists to protect the hospitals and their ability to meet demand, then watching as Californians contracted, but beat down the virus to a point that their rate of infection and death are minuscule, he found an opening to open the door to opening the country so we can build immunity in the masses. Healthy, active people don't even know they have the disease as they build immunity. I hope that message comes through over the din of governors who want to lock down the country indefinitely.

Your posts to this thread are pure, hollow filler and not remotely responsive to the better posts of others, no surprise there.

That is only half true. Yes, they have a better diet, but that is changing. Food is much more expensive there and that has some to do why their calorie intake is lower than here. They exercise more not because of social policy but because of transportation mostly. Cars are more expensive to own there and public transportation is much better but they still walk more than here.

That has to do with the SEVERITY of the infection once you catch it...NOT whether or not you get infected.

    FAIL

I didn't ignore them but you might be interested in this. He's not an M.D.

The Rockefeller University releases statement concerning Knut Wittkowski
    April 13, 2020

The opinions that have been expressed by Knut Wittkowski, discouraging social distancing in order to hasten the development of herd immunity to the novel coronavirus, do not represent the views of The Rockefeller University, its leadership, or its faculty.

Wittkowski was previously employed by Rockefeller as a biostatistician. He has never held the title of professor at Rockefeller.

The content of your answer is also no surprise. When faced with questions that call for answers that would go against your argument, you lower to pure, hollow filler which is not remotely responsive to the questions asked.

Why do you complain before you read? Or is your capacity to comprehend so poor that you can't understand and just make it up to suit yourself?

You're out of here, now. A non-communicator, a heckler in the cheap seats and nothing more.

Ad hominem and red herring rolled into one, your posts continue to be pure JUNK, as your posts usually are. Moreover, in Wittkowski's case, you purposefully, DISHONESTLY cherry-picked his resume' to exclude portions of it that are necessary context. Did you think people can't look at Google to see that you only mention things out of context that are favorable to your bias? Why do you LW constantly do that? You aren't fooling anyone older than a teenager with it. Why should ANYONE believe anything you post about anything?

No, I did not. I said that by their cultural traditions, they bow as a greeting, rather than shake hands or hug. I said they are quite clean in their homes and their persons, for example they don't bring their shoes into the house- which means anything on them is left outside. It is the nature of their cultural social conduct that inherently reduces the probability of transmitting pathogens.

I said nothing of masks, or anything as an imposed means of control. I come to those understandings because my friends in Japan told me and believe the same thing.

Your capacity to make things up isn't doing you any favors, and has gotten to the point of silliness. No one cares whom or how many get whatever iteration of a cold or any other form of disease that they never even knew they had contracted. Do you have any idea of how many pathogens and otherwise dangerous toxins healthy people absorb and process daily without knowing it? Apparently not.

Funny, I was thinking about the same of your posts. But anyway
You say I cherry picked portions of his resume yet don't post the necessary context. Google is your friend also. Also, as before, you complain but make no effort to support your claim(s). As far as ad hominem..........I call 'em as I see 'em.

    WTF are you babbling about

Your buddy was claiming that the reason Japan hasn't been hit hard by the virus had to do with diet and you chimed in with some lame crap about obesity

Try to remember your own posts

I've never used hand sanitizer and always made it a point to not use anti-bacterial hand soap, just regular handsoap. I clean my house with homeade cleaner made with vinegar, blue dawn, and some essential oil. I still don't own any hand sanitizer but do have some anti bacterial hand wipes in our vehicles to use after we get gas, and we only use it due to covid. I don't use any of that within my house. It does weaken the immune system. I'm also supplementing with vitamin D3 and superfood green powder scoop each day. I'm 44, and very rarely get sick. I haven't been to a doctor for being sick in over 10 years.
