Here is the Trump doctrine, in a NUTshell. Taxpayers do all the work, then it is turned over to vultures that prove how great free enterprise is, FOR THE CORPORATION. We get didly.

Fact is, they are awash in ventilators and have far more than they need. Not to mention a fully equipped hospital ship and makeshift hospitals that went totally unused.

 

SO WHAT, the ventilators were FIRST up in ny, then sent on to the next hotspot. That is what REPONSIBLE gov would do.

That hospital ship would have treated hangnails, cept someone screwed up, and let a covid patient onboard, so, already polluted, and bad press, get to work, might as well.

 

BAsic research, is taxpayer funded, then, it is turned over to the corp most capable of turning it into a patentable product, Unc sam washes his hands of it all.

I'm happy that the ventilator situation has been resolved. I'm hoping that the PPE shortages will be resolved quickly. But I'm not happy about taxpayers footing the bill for private companies to import PPE equipment and then sell the equipment to hospitals. Why are we paying for the freight to be delivered to their warehouses?

 

We still have to resolve whether they are then blackballing blue states and governors, AS TRUMP COMMANDED.
