To recap, Trump's most recent brilliant moves have been to withdraw funding from the World Health Organization and suggest that injecting disinfectant into people's lungs or "zapping" them with light could cure Covid-19.

None the less your statement "UV isn't a disinfectant. Bleach is. In addition to talking about UV, he talked about injecting disinfectants. Even if we substitute bleach with another disinfectant, it is still a stupid and suicidal idea."

That statement Is both incorrect in one part and fabricated in another.

When one has to pull words out of two different parts of someone's statement to make a point, that indicates the person doing such has zero facts to work with.

That is like the reporting done over at CNN and MSNBC.

Trump referred to "light" (UV) and disinfectants as 2 separate things. He talked about injecting the later. Please read. Literacy is not fabrication.

You have to ask a simple question. Why? If the WHO actively engaged in both misinforming the world about the pandemic in China, why spend money on them at all given they failed to even ask for, publicly, travel restriction for chinese leaving the country. They don't seem interested in actually doing things, other than cashing the checks at this point. As for what they are doing in Africa, I think its a crapshoot. You have to ask are they being effective there?

3 quick points for now:
1- The purpose of language is to communicate ideas in words that would be understood clearly enough by the audience those words are directed to. When Trump says something that makes even his own science and medical advisor on this issue cringe, he has clearly failed to use the proper language to convey the question you are asking for him.
2- If he had asked that question you are alluding to, he wouldn't have been ridiculed but, instead, found most people thinking: Well, thanks for that great question. In the meantime, what did you think many scientists who are searching for a cure for this virus are working on? Something that doesn't kill the virus? Something that kills people instead? Duh!
3- Trump's contribution to that question you inferred from his comments was precisely in the examples he gave (UV and disinfectants) and which he was thinking can somehow be modified, fitted, or used in people to kill the virus (including through injection). That 'contribution' of his, makes him -- besides being someone who wants to back up his view of himself as being smart enough to have become a great scientist or doctor if he had chosen such a career -- look like a moron to practically everyone who isn't a moron himself.

 

Well, then you, and the president, are equally doing your part, aren't you......since he didn't advocate the above either....

 

Per this link looks like Lysol is a no go and should not be ingested, inhaled or injected. I wonder out loud if enema cleansing would work on covid-19. Does anyone who got sick off ingesting tide pods get sick from the virus yet?
