Nonsense. Your boy trump spent 8 years spewing racist filth against Obama with his birther bullshit and the right creamed their pants in glee.
She's right, by the way, trump is a disgusting maggot who is completely unfit to be potus, and more people see it every day.

People are fired all the time for things they post to the public on social media. Some of their students are Trump supporters. Is she someone they should want associated with their university? She doesn't show much class or as someone students should look up to.

She was insulting people not Trump. People who work at the school and students who attend the school and their families. Is this the example they want their professors to set for the students and as a representative member of their faculty?

I actually thought she was Georgia's AOC until I read the article..... What a real piece of work..... she can't be fired because she's tenured???? WTF? Pretty presumptuous

Is she tenured? If she is really hard to fire her if she is doing her job and not broken the law.

I work for a major hospital system here in Georgia, I could be fired for social media posts like that. I also have several teacher friends, they also could be fired for social media posts like this. But YMMV. I guess she's allowed since she's "tenured" and gloated about it.

You can indeed be fired for saying what she said. Tenure is nice to have. I have it.

Let me rephrase your question. Should university professors be fired for racist tweets?

I’ve still not seen the racism. Can you post it? I’m against racism no matter the source.

Just most people I know and work with are a little more classy with their online presence. They are not crude individuals who seek attention via social media, and know how to behave accordingly. Again, YMMV. Have a nice evening.

Really? If most people were like that I wager we’d have a different president.

Finally gave it a glance. Yah looks pretty racist. I’d have lead with the white depravity in the headline lol

If asking for a birth certificate prior to employment is racist, then either every company I know is racist or we need to do away with them. i suspect I know what you would want.

Whooooaaaaah....remembr that teacher in Houston who Tweeted Trump about the illegals in her school? What position did the left take on that one? They fired her because they say as an employee she represented the school.

I’m in support of firing this chick. Based exclusively on the white depravity part.

I think Trump supporters are missing certain human qualities. And generally tenured college professors get a ton of leeway. They aren't teaching children.

She seems to meet all the demographics for a VP nomination.

Joe? add one more to the binders, we got ourselves a winner here.

They are major influencers on young adults and note the unnecessary specious personal attack on others.

Why does that matter? Has she banned her students from viewing her Twitter or otherwise ensured that they are sheltered from being included in the 'all Trump supporters' that she has made it clear that she detests?

If not, then she has, in no uncertain terms, proclaimed to at least some of her students that she detests some of her students and blames them for the Cvirus. Thats not acceptable.

She is free to have and voice her opinion. But creating a hostile work environment for others is not protected by the 1A.

I don't see it as hypocritical. The teacher he mentioned tweeted about the students being there illeagally was actually following the law in that no one is supposed to knowingly aide illegals.

The lady in the OP however could potentially be abusing her power as a teacher. The thought pattern being that if she's willing to be racist openly in full view of the entire twitterverse then she has the will to take out her racist ideology against those she's being racist against, including in her own classroom.
