It’s asinine to think about starting a civil war over a handful of thugs on both sides. If we allow ourselves to be led around by a few talking heads on CNN and Fox News and a few malcontents on both sides, then we are too stupid to continue as a specie anyway.

I guess about 100 million plus feel it is. Being as more than just nurses and doctors are showing up to work every day, unless you were under the false assumption that no cashiers, truck drivers, sales staff, postal workers and millions of others are sitting home being "safe"

I think a vast majority of them would much rather be at home then outside but they are considered essential employees and are either volunteering or required to come to work knowing if they do not, they entire country would collapse. So there is no false assumptions here, just common sense.

If you don't have to go out and you decide to go out anyway and don't mind risking getting infected, spreading it to others and quite possibly losing your life, then that's your business and your conscience...and not mine.

In any case, then having a few hundred national guard troops with fixed bayonets facing them is just the way of the government to show love to them.

One example that come to mind is when the nation was young Washington with the help of Hamilton put down the whisky rebellion using an over whelming show of force. The farmers decided the idea of going into combat with federal troops even those they themselves was arm was not a good idea.

I can see for example Trump losing the election an then claiming it was stolen from him calling his supporters to rebel.

As most of the military does not seem to care for Trump they are likely to honor the constitution so the blood bath of Trump supporters will be fast over.
