I have two words for you:

    White

    Woman.

I don't see a Karen being put in the VP shot.

I don't think ol' Joe's got a snowballs chance in hell with any of em. These battle lines are WW1ish: stagnant. The DNC if gonna have to jump out of the box to get anywhere, and a surprise pick like Tulsi Gabbard seems to me to be the best way to do that. So thats my pick (other).

I was certain the ol' Joe would pick Amy Klobuchar, a Midwest hyperliberal Democrat senator, to be his running mate. It would have cemented his advantage in the upper-midwestern states, but now she's out because of this 'Floyd' killing by >one< police officer in Minne-EHH-polis.

Now the radical, America-hating Left has him painted into a corner -- with black paint. Now, he must (MUST) pick a negro female (or some variety of politically-acceptable 'mulatto') -- probably Kamala-la-la Harris... which won't give him anything he didn't have already -- the liberal Pacific coast.... :psychoitc:

Dr. Lance Wallnau thinks it will be Kamala Harris, (if I remember correctly from the video by him that I heard a few days ago)!

I should listen to some of those again to see if I got her name mixed up with somebody else????

This is a good introduction to Dr. Wallnau's approach to politics:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's going to be Kamala-la-la also. Who else could it be...? If ol Joe's obliged now to select a running-mate with the twin credentials of negro-esque genetics (more or less), and, no penis -- then it's pretty much gotta be Kamala-la-la.

She's liberal enough, she's probably just barely 'black enough', but not TOO black, and she can talk-the-Democrat-talk, and, walk-the-Democrat-walk. She'll cement the American negro vote for Biden -- but -- it must be remembered -- HE HAD THAT ALREADY.... :roflol:

So, beyond the enhancement of 'politically-correctness' and 'racial-correctness' to the ticket (two overpowering attributes in the minds of Democrats) , what does she actually ADD to Joe's advantage...? :confuse:

I agree to the fact Harris doesn't help out Biden one bit. Whether or not he wins California by 3 million or 4 million votes, he isn't about to get a single electoral more than 55. Harris doesn't help him get to 270. But with Trump more or less in the self-destruct mode these last two to three weeks, who Biden picks might not matter.

But it still early and plenty of time for Trump to turn it around. If he can, if he knows how, I doubt both at the moment. Now the campaign season hasn't started yet, a 10 point lead is nice to have today, but once the campaign starts, strange things always seem to happen. Some polls from the first week of July, Hillary up by 4,she lost. Obama up by 4, defeated Romney by 4, Obama up by 6, defeated McCain by 8, Kerry up by 5, lost to Bush by 2, Bush up by 2 over Gore, Bush won but lost the popular vote by 4 tenths of one percentage point. Bill Clinton up by 17 over Dole, won by 9, G.H.W. Bush up by 8 over Bill Clinton, lost by 6, Dukakis up by 6 over G.H.W. Bush, lost by 8, Reagan up by 9 over Mondale, won by 18, Carter up by 7 over Reagan, lost by 9, Carter up 33 over Ford, won by 2.

The last one really caught my attention, Ford almost caught Carter in the last four months of the campaign. Carter's 7 point lead the first week of July evaporated to where he trailed Reagan by 3 points on 30 July 1980. G.H.W. Bush's 8 point lead over Bill Clinton was erased in July, by the end of July Clinton had a 25 point lead. That's another eye catcher. So a lot of strange things can happen between the first week of July to November.

    Harris will hurt Biden
    when voters consider her
    "a heartbeat from the presidency".

    The Palin Effect

There are 49 other States besides California. ;)

    It WON'T matter.

All of that Willie Brown crap is already baked-in from the Primary.

    And, nobody cared.

Well the Democrats do care about turn out, and the right VP pick could make a difference. But you're right. The Democrats don't need to have a strategy to win California.

That's why I don't get the excitement over Harris. She wasn't that popular with Blacks to begin with, and her actual AG record was a turn off in the primaries. Plus, if you want a Black VP, why not get one who's actually Black? Harris would be our first Indian VP candidate. Her mom was Indian and her dad was mixed. How exactly is she Black?

There are better Black female candidates out there who are actually Black.

In a perfect world, the pick would be one who is the best qualified and has the most positive experience regardless of who, what or where from. We don't live in a perfect world, so we toss the best qualified and most experienced out the window.

As a numbers guy, I always looked for a VP candidate that would help one get to 270. So I also threw the above out the window. Harris does nothing there. Right now I haven't the faintest idea who Biden will pick. The two who would have done the most help for him getting to 270 has taken themselves out of the picture. Senators Masto, Nevada and Klobuchar, Minnesota. So I'll just wait and see.
