It's still a free country. I wouldn't buy anything or have any interest in anything by Allen or Satre or Nabokov, but they should not be censored.
I voted yes and agree with the reason provided, but I would vote yes even if he was found guilty via due process. There is no information that should ever be prevented from being published so long as a publisher is willing to publish it. I wouldn't buy it, of course, but there is no justification to keep any information from consenting adults in a free society.
Sure, let him publish it. I think the guy is a pervert but that's the wonder of capitalism - if there's a market, then publish away. Let the free market decide if it swims or sinks. Just because I'm not buying it doesn't give me the right to say it shouldn't be out there. This must be the updated autobiography as his first one was published in 1967:
Woody Allen is, by the way, a rather accomplished writer outside of his movie scripts and his comedy writing for television. He has written several pieces for the New Yorker, short stories etc. I definitely would buy a book he wrote. I have always enjoyed his humor and wit.
a good read is a good read and you can't know without reading it... people limit themselves through peer moral compass, which changes depending upon whom is in question...
