People are not scared of it because the established numbers do not lie, it has zero effect on the vast majority of people and a death rate that is very small and by and large effects a select group of people. People can and will work around those facts. The economy is not going to stop because large number of people "get sick". The doom and gloom sales pitch wore itself out from over use.

I just bought stock in Draft Kings in anticipation of sports coming back very soon. Next stock will be Wing Stop. I guess there will be more deaths but from traffic accidents, since there will be more people on the road. The more people mingle the better chance of some resistance building up. We will have high death rates for a couple years but if we can develop some vaccine or shot the hope Is we can get back to some normalcy.

Red States handled the crisis much better than most of the Blue States, though there are some Blue States that did very well, CA and HI for example.
