I think this was a pretty smart move from the reporter.
I sense that Trump felt she was throwing him a bait question so that's what triggered him. Once she realized her position, she flipped the cards on him and made him look pretty bad.
I think Trump messed up regardless because now everyone will look at him even MORE villainous especially to the snowflake eye

 

He has been more patient with the "gotcha" questions than I would be.

Nonsense, I watched this briefing, the two female reporters were becoming hysterical, one trying to portray Trump's reference to China as racist the other upset because she missed her turn. Best and only thing to do is to walk away and let them cool off... which is exactly what he did.

 

Get up, coffee, breakfast, shower, get dressed, fix hair, put on makeup, drop off kids at moms, go to work, get your equipment, get to the press briefing, put on mask, wait for trump, wait your turn, ask a dumb question..

That really would not be a big deal. FDR used to send his Secret Service to seize the cameras of any reporters who made a picture of him in a wheelchair.

 

If you compared Trump to FDR in FDR's hearing he would probably have gotten up out of his wheelchair and kicked the piss out of you. The point is that anyone upset about gotcha questions needs to understand what keeps people tuned in. Stupid? You bet.

What is really fascinating is that folks can watch the same briefing and "see" things in entirely different ways.

Trump reacts negatively to anything he perceives as negative to him. His combustible personality just can't handle any kind of questioning that he interprets as a personal attack........ even if the questions a re far from it. He should be able to handle most questions without reacting to them or without walking out in a temper tantrum. He can't even handle people like the experts getting positive attention for the good information they give the public. He threatens to cancel the task force. The country keeps getting mixed menages....... confusion from the POTUS and facts from the experts. Now he is attacking Dr. Fucci. He does not tolerate anyone that speaks the facts ad truth and particularly if they don't fit Trumps premise. It is unpleasant to watch Trump embarrass himself that way. To attack the competent people like that is deplorable. unprofessional.........and immature .All Trump cares about is getting re elected....while making things up as he goes along.

 

He does not have "mild fits"........he has tantrums. He is combustible. and it does not take much to trigger him. He is too reactive for the job. Because of that he is not ;objective and everything has to favor HIM........All he wants is flattery , compliments as he can't get enough of same. He has t have HIS way.......so experts are over ruled and soon trashed by him........as they are a threat to him.(his ego) People are supposed to walk on egg shells around him........ as no one knows when or what will trigger his outbursts. He does not have the psychological make up needed for the position. this virus has brought ;out his weaknesses.

Re: Virus management. It i has been noticed world wide that the nations with a lady in charge are doing better in handling this pandemic. Women take a more comprehensive approach to things. and are NOT as emotional as some seem t o think.

 

And all this just at the worst possible time it could happen. Like the one guy was saying we need a comprehensive response to this pandemic or we could face a very dark fall.

I hope the American people realize from this that the presently existing Republican Party needs to be utterly eradicated as a viable political influence in this country. Any political ideology that could give us someone like Trump as a Chief Executive, let alone slavishly defend him, is a threat not only to our basic freedoms but to our very survival as these developments so clearly illustrate.

 

Ah but it was Democratic Party who gave us President Trump, not Republican Party. Have you learned your lesson? No. You’re now fronting ole Joe Bite_me who’s even worse candidate than Hillary was.
