What is your point EA, that Abattoirs shouldn't be surprised or that China threatens other countries who engages with them?

Certainly it makes engaging with China a risk... if they are going to infect you with a virus, destroy your economy, then damage it even further because you want to investigate why the problem occurred in the first place.

Let me summarise. Australia asks for an investigation... it is what we do when something goes wrong so we can prevent it from happening again (epically wrong btw - millions of people have lost their jobs) .... then China responds by damaging our economy even further because they don't want an investigation.
Millions of Australians lose their jobs due to Covid-19 and thousands more because we dared to ask for an investigation.
Pettiness or desperation?
China is merely showing us exactly why they cannot be trusted to make sensible decisions, in fact they will lash out like a wounded animal at the first opportunity, it is why they are an even bigger threat than what we thought.

~ This is true. The question is will the CCP's actions be perceived as an act of war on the west ? India, Australia, USA , UK and most of Europe have a bone to pick with China. If anything big happens it could be the end of the CCP - and that would be good for the Chinese people .

 

More than one person has made this comparison regarding the current global power structure.

China is like Germany before World War One.
Russia is like Germany after World War One.
United States is like the British Empire after World War Two.

So you've got China wanting to take their place as the leading global power and resenting anyone who stands in their way.
You've got Russia that was almost the greatest power on Earth and resents like hell their reduced status and would do anything to get it back.
You've got the United States which has been the greatest power on Earth and is steadily losing that spot due to financial overreach and a general fatigue regarding global involvement.

All in all an intensely dangerous combination.

It claims waters as its own based upon its imperial nine-dash line. In short,
the Sth China Sea is a part of Chinese Empire. And as Trump put it, Xi is an
emperor - to his face.
Seven nations contest these waters.
Chinese attempts now at harassing the Malays has met with a vigorous
response from the Americans. America would never call the Sth China Sea a
part of America.

 

From what I read, China considered the S. China Seas theirs for 3 thousand years, and I don't think we've been around that long. We did have the Monroe Doctrine though for S. America, and we've always considered it within our sphere of influence - and we did intervene quite frequently.

Anyway I'm not a spokesman for anyone, but I think Americans should have a dose of reality once in a while. The country that has the most claim on those islands in the S. China Seas other than China is the Philippines, and they want the American bases out, and want to negotiate the delineation of the territorial waters alone with China and without American interference.

If I recall correctly the Philippines were going to deal directly with China about 6 years ago, and the US brought it to court and stopped it under the pretense they were doing it for the Philippines. Had the US not done that, the Philippines could have utilized the wealth in the seas and bettered their economy all these years. Do you think that was being fair to them?

By the way, the latest accusation towards China is that it has ambitions towards the Arctic. In the meantime, Trump wants to buy Greenland.

 

Are they Chinese war ships, or are they merchant ships? They supply the world, and frankly I don't know what we're going to do without their cheap goods.

 

No one is sure at this point, there are lots of trucks bringing military vehicles in at Cape Town and rumours of thousands of Chinese soldiers already in South Africa. The military vehicles are on video but the thousands of soldiers are unconfirmed.

The Gangsters and Communist revolutionaries have taken over South Africa, there have been some very sinister developments during the strict lockdown in SA, even buying cigarettes are not allowed because the Gangsters in Government is selling on the black market. The most concerning have been the police brutality and the potential Chinese involvement in a South African genocide.



Unsubstantiated report that Chinese are arriving in Cape Town harbour with military vehicles under the cover of darkness. The video clip attached shows military vehicles hidden under canvas travelling at night. Why? I need subscribers living in the areas referred to to check out whether this story has any legs.

 

Apparently this have been exposed as fake news ^^^ the vehicles were offloaded at Walvis Bay on the west coast and were for Botswana. I don't know about the soldiers but likely also fake news.
