Eh, I don't think Obama is into Star Trek. I'd guess he's more into Star Wars, though.

I have two cats, one who's 3 next month and one who just turned 1.
They're outdoor access cats and vaccinated and microchipped and neutered and spayed.
They live here in Thornton Heath with me, but, to make life perfect; I'd get them passports and papers to allow them to travel to whatever house I vacation/stay in so they could be with me and get used to these homes and stuff I'd have around the world. Random, but, yeah, if I could, I would.

I like the idea of having these two cats of mine in Oregon with me and in Brooklyn with me, and, maybe even on that island in Tahiti with me; I mean, it's like 1.8 miles long, so, I guess they might get lost if they got out, but it is an island so I doubt they'd swim away; they're cats.
I wouldn't let them out in Oregon though for fear of wildlife eating them, and IDK so, I'm thinking, everywhere that's not Thornton Heath, they'd be indoor cats, I guess.

Let's say I'm in Oregon, I have my TV studio and my network and close by this holiday home; it'll be cool to return there after hanging around my TV studio to have my cats at that home with me; like I'd be at that TV studio knowing my cats and things are back at home in Oregon when I'm out there.
I'd do site seeing in Eugene etc, maybe even day trips to Portland etc; and have my cats would be in my Oregon home in Springfield like they would be England when I'm out (with enough food and water and kitty litter and each other to get them by).

I'd travel the world with my cats, be it America, Jamaica, Japan, etc, I'd take my cats with me. It'll be fun seeing them react too, but cool seeing them settle in too, besides, they know me and I'd be around and I'd like having them with me because I'd hate leaving them in England when I go travelling to use these places I want to buy, I'd have them close by out there (wherever vacation/live seasonally) with me.
We'd all be from Thornton Heath though.

    Why not have both?

For me, guitars are a priority though; is just who I am.
Then travel; in fact, travel and guitars it seems to be up there; but that said...
I have splashed out on a guitar over travel; honestly though; the first plan was to do both; buy guitar I want on my travels; but that proved harder since I struggled to find guitars selling in the places I want to see; so I bought the guitar in London and didn't get to travel in the end.

If money was no object though; that would widen the amount of guitars I could buy, so I'd be buying guitars and putting them in the places I want to travel/see/vacation/holiday in; rather than looking for them in these places; I could find one in Los Angeles (it turned out) and have it put in Springfield, since I couldn't find that line of Gibson for sale in Oregon (when I looked and contacted shops/stores in Eugene and Portland).
I mean, I could buy a new one from GuitarCenter, but... I don't want a new one; to me, Gibson VOS / R guitars are like wine; I prefer certain years over the new ones (because since 2013 it seems Gibson started putting badges on them that I don't like); so I could in theory buy that guitar in Oregon, but it would have been a brand new one (which also RRP for $7k opposed to the one I like without the offending badge for around $3.5k) - this taught me the scope of the used guitar market and made my native London that I took for granted (since I'm used to high Gibsons on the market) something to be more thankful for.
I went to Amsterdam twice, don't think I saw one American guitar selling out there, saw a bunch of fancy high end European acoustic guitars I hadn't heard of, but not like how I'm used to it in London; so I got my guitar in London and was glad to find the one I really wanted but thought impossible to find for under £6k£7k, I found one for sale selling in my budget of £4k (it was £3.5k) in the one finish I wanted with the neck profile I was shopping for; love that guitar; I couldn't even see any Gold Top/Dark Backs for sale in Los Angeles browsing this week, they're all Gold Top/Bright Backs, and when I bought the guitar, the shop told me that that Gold Top/Dark Back was rare and I said
    "I know, that's why I'm buying it."

To be honest, I rolled in off the street having looked at another Gibson R, a Gibson CR9 (chambered '59 reissue) around the corner; I rolled in off the street, literally wearing old sweat pants and an old tshirt (I didn't want to scratch a guitar with any buttons or belts so I dressed down); and; I rolled in off the street, saw it, price tag and all, asked to play it; got to play it, didn't even want it plugged in though I had the option, I riffed on it for 5 minutes and bought it.
It was love at first play.
