The point was obvious. But I guess I can't expect you to read between the lines if you can't read in the first instance.

If you had read the article in the OP, you would know that (1) it was from Fox News, and (2) you would have seen this: "The State Department watchdog whom President Trump fired last Friday had been looking into whether Secretary Mike Pompeo had ordered a staffer to perform personal errands including walking his dog, making dinner reservations and grabbing dry cleaning, a source familiar with the investigation told Fox News on Sunday."

    Too easy.

What a horrible attitude, whrn you get hired you become part of a team, you should be willing to do whatever the team needs regardless of your job title

Government job descriptions often contain the following phrase, "other duties as assigned."

An "unnamed Source" isn't laundered into a named source just because Fox News reported them. Further, we have a named source that says Trump has less than full confidence in him because of their flawed investigation into British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s dossier.

So tough ****, Trump's the boss and this guy's canned. You'll get over it.

You claim this clown was investigating lawbreaking by Pompeo, what is the penal code you claim that Pompeo violated and where is this clown's completed IG report?

Did this clown say a word about the pallets of cash that Obama sent to the Iranians despite the fact that such transactions are prohibited?

Treasury’s published guidance regarding Iran states that, in general, “the clearing of U.S. dollar- or other currency-denominated transactions through the U.S. financial system or involving a U.S. person remain prohibited.” (See here, p.17, sec. C.14.)

It is not just U.S. dollar transactions that are prohibited; foreign currency is also barred. Obama’s cash payment, of course, involved both.

Treasury’s guidance cites to what’s known as the ITSR (Iranian Transactions and Sanctions Regulations), the part of the Code of Federal Regulations that implements anti-terrorism sanctions initiated by President Clinton under federal law. The specific provision cited is Section 560.204, which states:

The exportation, reexportation, sale, or supply, directly or indirectly, from the United States, or by a United States person, wherever located, of any goods, technology, or services to Iran or the Government of Iran is prohibited.
The regulation goes on to stress that this prohibition may not be circumvented by exporting things of value “to a person in a third country” when one has “knowledge or reason to know that” such things are “intended specifically for supply, transshipment, or reexportation, directly or indirectly, to Iran or the Government of Iran.

To summarize, the anti-terrorism sanctions, still in effect, a fact the administration has touted many times. Obama conceded at his press conference both that these sanctions are still in effect and that they applied directly to his $400 million pay-out to our terrorist enemies. But here’s the president’s problem: While he is correct that the sanctions barred him from sending Iran a check or wire transfer, that is not all they forbid — not by a long shot. They also make it illegal to do what he did.

    https://www.nationalreview.com/2016...-president-obama-broke-law-sending-cash-iran/

So your clown managed not to notice this either, but having a staffer or dinner, that's a big ass deal, Steele Dossier used to launder Hillary's Oppo research into Spy warrants, again, not a problem for this clown, but having a staffer take the dog for quick walk, that's a big deal, but not a big enough deal to complete a report on?

Can you tell Pelosi and Schiff to please impeach over this? No President has ever been impeached twice, and Trump would like to set this record.

This will give Pelosi a chance to sign the bills with a fresh set of bullet pens and then take another six weeks to transport the articles the seventy five feet from her door to Mitch McConnell's door, like she did last time, so that the Senate Trial could tie up all three branches of government while the Winnie the Flue Epidemic was seeding New York.

In the inner cities, yes, and in the intense nature of Trumpies to congress together in crowds

Both sides will be hurt, yes

Imagine a news cycle where President Obama fired an IG put in place by George W. Bush that had been looking into Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s decision to go around a Republican congress and sell arms to Saudi Arabia AND the FBI found a link between al Qaeda and a Saudi military trainee that killed three members of the United States Navy and wounded several others on US soil on Obama’s watch.

Because Sunday President Trump fired an IG put in place by Barack Obama that had been looking into Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for his decision to go around a Democratic congress and sell arms to Saudi Arabia on the same day that the FBI established a link between al Qaeda and a Saudi military trainee that killed three members of the United States Navy and wounded several others on US soil on Trump’s watch.

The collective screeching from the GOP and Fox “News” would shatter every piece of glass in North America.

And that was just another day ending in the letter “y” in the presidency of Benedict Donald Dumbass.

I don't recall this being much of a story when Obama fired a Bush appointed IG: http://www.nbcnews.com/id/31325894/...es-americorps-inspector-general/#.XsQtbURKjZY

    "
President Barack Obama says he has lost confidence in the inspector general who investigates AmeriCorps and other national service programs and has told Congress he is removing him from the position.

Obama's move follows an investigation by IG Gerald Walpin finding misuse of federal grants by a nonprofit education group led by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, who is an Obama supporter and former NBA basketball star."

Also Congress isn't "Democratic" they have the majority in the lower chamber. Also Clinton did sell arms to SA, and don't recall much news about it really...I mean other then being historic for the being the largest arms deal in history to them.

Why are they going after Pompeo? Is it just a general thing or is this is response to Pompeo going after China?

We demand that you impeach Trump for this. No president has ever been impeached twice, and Trump wants that trophy nailed to his wall.

WE DEMAND THAT YOU IMPEACH TRUMP NOW!

Trump's still riding on the last impeachment bump. Another impeachment could send his approval soaring even higher.

It's illegal. Either way, I would never ask an employee to do something not in their documented scope of duties. That's an outrageous abuse of the power dynamic. If someone is a forklift driver, you cannot ask them to do anything not directly related to that role - no taking your car to the detailers, or driving your brother to the airport. If someone is a clerical assistant or other lower level office worker, that means they do clerical, office work - they don't make coffee or clean bathrooms.

If you don't want to operate that way, don't hire anyone from the open labour market. Stick with family businesses, where you can bend the rules all you like.

Sure, but they're duties which still fall within the scope of operations.

You absolutely cannot ask a Govt employee to do anything even remotely personal - like make coffee, go get your lunch, or pick up dry-cleaning. You'd be terminated if you tried, because the underling would report you in an instant. They know that the only person who'll lose their jobs over a refusal to make coffee for the boss, is the boss who asked for the coffee to be made. They have no fear of job loss, so management can't get away with that 1950's bullcrap.

That works out very well then, since I'd never work for you.

But I WOULD hire you - assuming you didn't try to make coffee for the boss, when I'm paying you to do something else. That would be a waste of my money, and a waste of your time.
