I am OK with that. I am not OK with trying to push through legislation in those bills that has nothing to do with the current crisis. It causes delays and political infighting for no reason other than to push through an agenda that has no time and place when dealing with this crisis.

    Exactly, DL.

Trump was free to veto the bill. He didn't.

Event: Trump signs Bill to spend Trillions and Give people Extra Unemployment.

RW Take: "It's The Dems' Fault"

Some of the Pro-Trump "talking points" don't seem to be very well thought out.

No. I donated mine to the animal shelter that I help support and give time to. They really need the money and I think it's a worthy cause. I felt that was more important than just writing the check back to the government.

One alternate plan is to give them UE until after they have found a job to help them get started.

We could have sent every American over 18 $14,500.00 but instead we had to bail out trump’s donors, big oil, chain restaurants and industries that took the largest tax break in US history and bought back stocks...

So if your employed and your company cut you wages by at least 10%. You qualify for STC. When your employer submits the paperwork you will receive the 600/ week as well as the percentage paid by state.

Seriously. Think on that for a second. A 100,000 year salaried person will lose 833/month but gain 2400.

Of course, since some of the lost jobs are never going to return, they probably want to avoid that sort of open-ended commitment.

Obviously, even in a best case scenario, with the economy:
The USA will be lucky to have 80 to 85% of the Pre-COVID jobs return by 2022.

The economy will (most likely) NEVER Return to Pre-COVID levels.

NASA systems do tend to use older systems/code because of their reliability.

I don’t know about all states, but in Tennessee I believe you have to fall below the benefit amount of weekly earnings at $275.00 or the equivalent of $14,300 a year. If a person making 100k falls below $14,300 that is a significant drop in earnings.

"In mind mind, everyone has a right to live comfortably and not have to work".

She couldn't have put the liberal position any better if she had been given a script.

But of course, no one at CNN would bother to ask who would pay for everyone to live comfortably and not work. That part of the equation would never occur to them. There's the unlimited pockets of "rich people" that they hate for that.

So start a business. Do you think a bowling alley is raking in the dough?

Actually she said “everyone has a right to live comfortably and not have to worry”.

    Slight difference

You couldn’t have exposed the conservative position any better if you had been given a script... (just kidding, but see how it is shallow to say an entire group should be judged because of something you misheard?)

Bowling alleys have been a bust since the 1990's.

I can only speak for states we have plants. Texas, Florida and Ohio we have employees who have already received the 600/week and they are well above the $14,300.
