Unlike Trump, Biden says, for him, it's 'hands off' the Justice Debt, they can do
whatever they want and he won't interfere, or help or encourage in any way.

Biden is a Creep who will never be President. He needs to worry about subpoena coladas and getting caught in Ukraine.

If elected king of the world I will stamp out racism, poverty and global warming.

    See how that works?

That's very disingenuous, especially given Bush's remarks that he would have pardoned Clinton.

As President, you provide broad guidance, set priorities and policy. You do not decide who they prosecute, and who they should not. You do not try to influence specific determinations on sentencing recommendations etc. Biden is absolutely right. As for the power to pardon, it should be used from a distance. Both Trump and Bill Clinton have used this inappropriately.

Trump? I am almost certain he will try before he leaves office. And issue general pardons for his immediate family.

Yeh, you say you WILL do those things BEFORE you're elected, and then forget them once you are elected. Trump says he HAS done them AFTER he's elected, and then forgets them while he says them.

Can I assume, then, that Biden would never pardon himself, either?

If Democrats win, the next 4 years will be nothing but them trying to put the orange man in jail.

Do you think it would be wrong for a president to try to pardon himself?

You’ll have to ask him. I take it from your posts that you would criticise trump if he tried to pardon himself?

I agree. They will manufacture fake crimes like they did with impeachment and then shop it to judges ahead of time to make sure they get the rulings that they want and then proceed and they won't stop until they get exactly what they and the media want: Pictures of Trump in an orange jump suit in prison. Then they will feel vindicated for losing the 2016 election and for the failed Mueller probe. Nazi style.

He isn't guilty of anything that would require a pardon. I've said that three times. Enough.
