That just shows the low caliber of people serving these days. But then it's not like they are signing up to fight a war. We are back into the military as a job for those who can't cut it in the real world.

Isn't the National Guard primary controlled at a State, not Federal, level? If the States want them there, can't they order it themselves?

I can't stand Trump, and I don't disagree that the National Guard should be there, but just not sure how this is a Federal responsibility. But let me know if I'm getting anything wrong.

Anybody that doesn't align with your view must be "low caliber"..

    Yeah OK. Get over yourself.

This is how liberals treat anybody that doesn't agree with them, military or not.

    disgusting.

I'm willing to bet you have never served a day in your life.

Amiright? Let's hear the excuses why.

No deflection here. Just making an observation on another's content in a reply to this thread. That content, which by the way, did not mention anything related to the content of my original post. So if you want to talk deflection check out that post.

That was my experience in the Reserves. Orders, as a general rule, were cut a day before the cut off of expanded benefits. I never got orders that were anything less than minus one day to become eligible for the next set of benefits.

    Except for my 9/11 deployment.

One thing that is consistent on this forum, is the near certainty of anti-military posts and the open contempt for service members during the Memorial Day weekend.

The National Guard was federalized during Eisenhower. If the state needs them the state must pay for them if not then the feds can use them and pay them.
