    Why did you set the trash can on fire? Burning up the blood soaked evidence?

    Sitting here on my second glass of chilled Barefoot brand Riesling. I have found a wine I really like. Been working on the filter pond for 2 days in the Alabama sun. This wine really hits the spot. I could become a wino.

    A bunch of us coworkers are on a big job in Sacramento. One of the guys really likes to hit the bars after work. Unfortunately they are closed. His wife and family are back in Ohio and mine are up in Idaho. I don’t do bars...at all. I was in an outlaw motorcycle “club” in my 20’s and we would go to biker bars. I’m 6’05” and anywhere between 230-240#. I was always the guy that the rival “club” in the bar would size up. It got to be a big buzz kill. Anyway I swore off bars. But my buddy is slipping into depression because his favorite watering hole is closed. So I invite him to my apartment for some beers and to hang out. It’s pretty hard to go to work on Thursday when Wednesday night you split a 12 pack of beer and a bottle of makers mark.
    He flew back home for 10 days so I get to sober up a bit. But whew, I’m too old for this mid week boozin’

    Riesling wine, and I don't know the lot number but it is a Barefoot brand. I don't drink often at all but sometimes it seems to help.

    You go to Smarties bar. I don't go to other bars either. Driving under the influence is dangerous and can be expensive.

    Director of - Platoon - { 1986 } Oliver Stone actually wrote the
    script to that Great War Drama starring Charlie Sheen in 1971 { a good year }.
    He wanted it to star Jim Morrison.He gave Morrison the script.It was
    found among his things in Paris where he died.
    Which also explains why Stone made the movie - The Doors - { 1991 }.
    Morrison was a heavy drinker.The thinking behind his suspicious death is that
    Morrison was almost manic once drunk.Would do crazy stuff.He demonstrated that
    numerous times while On Stage drunk in concert.
    The theory is that Morrison was considering dabbling into Heroin.
    And that he was at an Underground Paris nightclub { Rock & Roll Circus club }
    his last night on earth.Either scored some { did not like needles so would snort }
    or went back to his apartment and did with his girlfriend he was staying with
    who was a Hop Head.

    Very definition of an American Tragedy.She { Edie } came from a
    very wealthy family.Underwent abuse by a father who in the 50's
    was something Rich fathers could get away with.Or just shuffle
    said family victim off to some Institution until they learn't to keep
    their yapper shut.
    The Sedgwick brood was raised by nannies and home schooled.
    Out away from society on their remote California ranch.
    They were under the control of their domineering father known as " Fuzzy ".
    Once older and out east Edie attended a college where she had
    access to Harvard boys { bohemian version of the Harvard scene }.
    Lost both her brothers within a little over a year.One to suicide " Minty "
    and the other " Bobby " in a motorcycle crash.
    Both had an influential effect on her life and ability to act grown-up.
    She resisted any impulse to act Grown-up.That was to be her hallmark
    trait the entirety of her remaining life on earth.
    Left the Harvard social scene to hit the Big Apple and her new
    mentor Andy Warhola with his Pop Art fame and notorious
    new religion { however remaining a daily Catholic } of Partying and
    being Bohemian and drugs { Mostly Dr.Feelgood shots in the fanny }
    and of course Booze and Cigs.Somehow Edie was caught up in this new
    Mid-manhattan Factory,free & easy lifestyle.She became known as Andy's
    girl.Or the It Girl
    Never learned or tried to outgrow her almost instant fame as
    60's Glitter Queen.No matter when and if the money wasn't there to
    support her cavalier lifestyle.Plus she was No Actress.
    At best she was a good model.Not dependable but uniquely gifted.
    As an Actress she wasn't even a bust.Her mentor Warhola was also
    no Filmmaker.Just a Creepy,ghost white in the face and hair waste of good
    film.Edie couldn't act her way out of paper bag to save her life.
    Which of course was her goal in life.She had to prove how undisciplined,
    reckless and totally oblivious to Real Life on earth she could act.
    Which is one role she mastered.Sometimes Life imitates art.
    Sometimes it throws a monkey wrench into the equation.
    Which unbeknownst to even the best Psychiatrist can be a
    blessing for others of the Art Who persuation.

    Boxer or American Bulldog? My cousin in Mesquite has an ABD that looks just like that. I used to have Boxers.
