"First he lit into Michigan and Nevada, threatening to withhold federal funding because of his assertion that both states were preparing to commit voter fraud through mail-in ballot applications. Then President Donald Trump followed up Sunday with two more broadly-worded warnings that November would be “the greatest Rigged Election in history.” “The Democrats are trying to Rig the 2020 Election, plain and simple!” the president claimed." "Trump’s rhetoric isn’t exactly new for him. As a primary candidate, he attributed his Iowa defeat to fraud committed by Sen. Ted Cruz. Even after his general election victory, Trump made unsubstantiated claims of “serious voter fraud in Virginia, New Hampshire and California” — three states that he failed to carry — and told congressional leaders that millions of illegal votes were the reason he lost the popular vote." "In one of his first acts as president, Trump created an 11-member commission to study alleged voter fraud. Two years later, amid the GOP’s 2018 wipe-out, he was lodging complaints about “electoral corruption” in Arizona and “missing or forged” ballots in Florida." https://www.politico.com/news/2020/0...k-fears-274477 So is Trump "planting the seeds for delegitimizing the election if he loses? Setting the stage now by echoing without offering any proof that an election six months away is already rigged? Attempting to invalidate the election even before it is held?
I wouldn't be so sure of it, he has a lot of things going his way, and what makes you think he is going to leave if it does happen
That's obviously and exactly what he is doing - delegitimizing the election in case he loses. What he is doing is more insidious than what he (wrongly) claims was done to him after the last election. He is setting the stage either for him to stay in place or for his supporters to spend the following four years screaming that the election was stolen.
Trump will never give up power. He knows his followers will agree with any word that comes out of his mouth. If he says "rigged election," he'll have an army of armed inbreds ready to fight for him. Trump will call on his minions to take to the streets and "liquidate" all dissenters (i.e., anyone who disagrees that the election was rigged, which will basically be everyone but Trumpers). Civil war is coming. If you thought the pandemic was bad, just wait for the bloodbath in November.
More ridiculous derangement with no rational basis other than severe TDS. I mean seriously, how can you even write this BS with any seriousness.
That’s a pretty bold and petty statement to make. When you have to resort to insults of that nature you are part of the problem.
One thing about Trump.. he runs off at the mouth. Judge by what he does not what he says.. i am ok with mail in ballots. As long as the states can prove the votes are legit.
If I had read this post 10 years ago I would have told you that your tinfoil hat was too tight. Today me and my wife went target shooting to keep our shooting skills fresh.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong. I don't want to be liquidated. But I have lost all confidence in the critical reasoning skill of Trumpers.
He ALREADY Knows that he is headed to a Catastrophic Defeat... Thus, he is already planting the seed for an Excuse... EVERYBODY Is Aware of That... Poor Lil' Donnie... A Raging PARANOID Imbecile...
He has some things going his way, which he will completely squander, including incumbency and a rabid, but shrunken base.... it's not enough.... If he won't leave, he'll be made to leave by the Military, Secret Service, or Orkin Man.... On his way out, he just might be receiving some paperwork from various state governments as well... Good ****ing riddance
you dont want to be "liquidated" ??? take a chill pill man you are way overwrought. youre on the short bus to crazytown.
Well I think he has a point. No way the DNC noms Biden. He's clearly not up to it. So who will they pick, this late in the game, and how? Is there any chance at all it will be 'democratic'? I don't see how.
