"Trump sees a ‘rigged election’ ahead"

"First he lit into Michigan and Nevada, threatening to withhold federal funding because of his assertion that both states were preparing to commit voter fraud through mail-in ballot applications. So is Trump "planting the seeds for delegitimizing the election if he loses? Setting the stage now by echoing without offering any proof that an election six months away is already rigged? Attempting to invalidate the election even before it is held?

That's obviously and exactly what he is doing - delegitimizing the election in case he loses. What he is doing is more insidious than what he (wrongly) claims was done to him after the last election. He is setting the stage either for him to stay in place or for his supporters to spend the following four years screaming that the election was stolen.

 

He said the same thing in 2016, unless he won.

 

Yeah, he's rigging it.

Trump will never give up power. He knows his followers will agree with any word that comes out of his mouth. If he says "rigged election," he'll have an army of armed inbreds ready to fight for him. Trump will call on his minions to take to the streets and "liquidate" all dissenters (i.e., anyone who disagrees that the election was rigged, which will basically be everyone but Trumpers). Civil war is coming. If you thought the pandemic was bad, just wait for the bloodbath in November.

One thing about Trump.. he runs off at the mouth. Judge by what he does not what he says.. i am ok with mail in ballots. As long as the states can prove the votes are legit.

Well I think he has a point. No way the DNC noms Biden. He's clearly not up to it. So who will they pick, this late in the game, and how? Is there any chance at all it will be 'democratic'? I don't see how.
