President Trump is about to fix another Obama screw up

Altho today's launch has been scrubbed, under president Trump's leadership we again are now capable of putting a man in earth orbit. We no longer have to come to the russians with a pot of money to put an American on the Space Station.

This is JUST ONE of the many screw ups that the Obama regime committed. All the presidents before him could launch an American in orbit for 59 years before Obama. This is as I say just one of the reasons he was the worst president the country has ever had. He blew billions on buying votes for democrats and on criminal invaders.

 

Well now be fair, Obama tasked NASA with making Muslims feel good about their contribution to science. That took a lot of research and man hours to find something. Are they still looking?

 

I'm not counting this chicken before it hatches although I hope it does. The USA was a much wealthier country back when NASA itself was putting up shuttles one after another.

 

George W. Bush terminated the space shuttle program in 2004 after we had 3 different shuttle vehicles fly one only 25 times one 33 times and the other one 39 times.They were supposedly designed to each fly 100 times, but after each flight they instead required a virtual complete rebuild each one costing billions. Obama cancelled the constantly obscenely over budget Houston shuttle replacement program in 2010, following the Bush recession.

 

The space shuttle was still launching when Obama was president. He could have saved it but he was too obsessed with his new Obama-phone scheme.

 

Under the Oama the space shuttles were sold in the cash for clunkers program

 

The program was terminated in 2004 by BUSH with the final flight being in 2011. It was costing a fortune to virtually rebuild the shuttle after each flight.

Space Exploration Technologies Corp., trading as SpaceX, is a private American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services company headquartered in Hawthorne, California. It was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk with the goal of reducing space transportation costs to enable the colonization of Mars. SpaceX has developed several launch vehicles and the Dragon spacecraft. Oh and by the way IT IS PRIVATELY FUNDED. So the current moron in chief or his administration haven't spent a dime let alone a penny to help in putting a man in earth orbit. You Trump supporters make me laugh with all your ridiculous claims about him. But then what can one expect from the Trump cult clan.

 

Well that and the fact that it was really really old tech by then and two of the fleet had already crashed and burned by then. Neither Bush nor Obama seemed very interested in replacing the shuttle.

 

Space exploration suffers under republican lead recessions, as does infrastructure, healthcare everything else not related to the donor class f the gop.

 

Don’t forget that the tax cuts that crashed the economy at the end of lil Bush’s presidency also left the US strapped for cash. It makes no sense to spend billions on a space launch program when the country’s infrastructure is falling apart due to lack of funds.

 

One correction. It is co funded by private and government grant money. 3.1 billion in tax dollars seems pretty substantial.

1st the tax cuts did not crash the economy bone headed housing policy did. A lack of funds did not stop them adding a whole new and very expensive entitlement program for the elderly. Medicare part D.
We have seen since the sixties is that more and more of the federal budget has gone from infrastructure and the military. To entitlement spending. Federal spending as a percent of GDP has scarcely changed at all. What has changed drastically are spending priorities. In the fifties spending was 70 percent military 25% infrastructure and 5 percent entitlements now spending is now it is 20 percent, some would argue less, 75% entitlements and 5% infrastructure.

We are doing no such thing, and Trump certainly has nothing to do with it. This is all Elon Musk. NASA is a passenger on this one. Say what you will about Musk being a nut job, which in many ways he is, but the guy puts his money where his mouth is.

Our space programs fell gradually into decline due to lack of political will. The Obama administration inherited a deep economic recession. There was no money for space flights, and if he had tried to increase NASA's budget, the right would have screamed bloody murder.

Manned space flight is never going to fly much, the cost of safety & health is astronomical. Only robotic space flight makes any sense.

Yes, the poor and now the elderly are hoarding all the money. No wonder we had the Bush recession, grandmothers and great grandmothers everywhere were absconding with all the cash to dye their hair blue. Of course Bush had eight years to secretly Transfer all those funds to Barbara.

Or course. The Dems caused 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq too during the 8 years Bush was tied to a chair and unable to speak and was forced to sign all those budgets, even the ones Dems forced those massive tax cuts. Poor reps when they’re in power that have no power. Amazing.

This is typical reasoning on the part of republicans who try to avoid responsibility for their incompetence. Like Trump who complained about the lack of preparedness of Obama for Pandemics when it was he who dismantled it.

I suppose it’s all in the eye of the beholder, but when you are the CEO of the country and in charge for eight years, the excuses are a complete farce. Trumps conduct as we speak in years to come will some how be explained away by republicans with the same ridiculousness as birtherism.
