    I miss fresh thinking.
I miss the renegades and Litwin too. And Renee. And Spooky. etc.

No, we don’t live in boring times.

Like That Never Happened In A Life Time, before.

How about we are saturated and more immune today from
    those huge changes you reference.

Chronic Afghanistan, Syria, etc. While, creeping globalism robs "us".
Like Australia selling out its' people to globalism. Japan pays less for Aussie NG.

I think we live in boring times. BUT

That boredom is of our own doing.

Too many useful things makes for too many useless people.
There are too many useful things that make survival in America far to easy.
Here is an example. Heat pumps...

Where i grew up most people heated with firewood. This meant you spent your free time cutting, chopping, hauling and stacking firewood. It was fun rewarding work. Hell it even lead to recreation, actually going out in the woods and looking for recently dead trees for the next year, and at the same time keeping an eye out for wild edible mushrooms.

Boredom is a byproduct of modern life.

complacancy... it's what happens when folks give their offspring everything, even if they can't actually afford it...

as a whole, us babybooners failed our children, creating the millenials which led to today's socialist loving generation...

After some days of thought. . .

It is the loss of some of our spicier, more unique members

and the predictability of the less imaginative "left overs".

    I remember @scarlet witch

Something suggesting some outside of the box thinking yet
    worthy of discussion.

What happened to that @scarlet witch?

Everything is exactly as it appears yet it is not based on our history because of the changes in technology. Most of us get bored with doing the same thing over and not getting anywhere like arguing about less government vs more- in the end you stay and go along or find other interests. Me I got bored with watching us hit each other over the head with our opinions, because after awhile of the back and forth you come to understand the problem is control and you are either for it or agin it! Ader that its just they said thee said....

Don't know Moi. Could be you don't find anyone more interesting than yourself. I find you interesting. Always have to read between the lines. I do understand your frustration. Too many on here use the same rotated answers out of the drum. Unfortunately political correctness has killed most humor.

    Do you remember, Litwin?

    Of course I did not agree with him but . . . . .
"Litwins" made for a more dynamic Board.

Anyone got any "gone" member they miss for their effect?

Since this upload as measured by partisan New Threads and others
committed to "jackassary" which a ole time rampaging Mod told me
"jackassary" is NOT against the rules.

I hardly find a "fresh" point of view.
Nor is it as easy to "ignite" one.
    ;)

The current membership are a bunch of pigeon holed opinionated
with less cerebral involvement of following a thought through.

Look at the most recent New Threads.

And that is what Happens When We Loose a Detestable "Litwin"
or drive away @Spooky @Renee and how many others lost . . .
To create such a congenial Board.
    Once Exciting. Today, less so.

It is almost what I would imagine a :flagcanada: controlled Board. :icon_jawdrop:

I voted for boring times. I read once where Spooky got banned. That seems absurd to me, that someone like Spooky could get banned. I get Spooky and Libby mixed up a lot. Maybe its because their avatars are similar.
