Obamagate Gets Worse With DAMNING Declassified Memo.

Used the power WE granted him to protect US, to attack the American Electorate.

Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into alleged links between the Trump campaign and Russia, was based on such weak “evidence” that a former FBI executive says it should have never been opened up “in a million years.”

A newly declassified memo dated July 31, 2016, which launched the entire investigation, was based not on any evidence of wrongdoing by any members Trump campaign. The investigation was opened based on “a third-hand ‘suggestion’ of wrongdoing and the thinnest of suspicions that illegal foreign lobbying had occurred.” The memo makes clear that the criminal basis for Operation Crossfire Hurricane was suspected violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, but the memo does not identify a single incident violating that law.

“There is nothing in the [electronic communication] that meets the traditional thresholds for opening up a [Foreign Agents Registration Act] or [counterintelligence] investigation,” Kevin Brock, the former chief of intelligence for the FBI, told Just the News. “It appears hastily constructed.”

There are other red flags contained in the memo, including Peter Strzok’s drafting and approving the opening of his own investigation and segregating the memo, preventing interagency oversight.

The memo shows “there was no serious basis for the Obama administration to launch an unprecedented spy operation on the Trump campaign. We now have more proof that Crossfire Hurricane was a scam, based on absurd gossip and innuendo. This document is Exhibit A to Obamagate, the worst corruption scandal in American history.”

So why would corrupt FBI agents have opened up an investigation based on the weakest of evidence into a presidential candidate, who was also a major critic of the sitting president at the time? It is quite clear that Spying Obama’s corrupt FBI wanted to surveil the Trump campaign and was fishing for any excuse to do so. This latest evidence helps explain why the spying Obama administration applied for a FISA warrant against the Trump campaign even though they knew the Slandering Steele dossier they were relying on was based on Russian disinformation. This explains why the investigation persisted despite the fact it never found any empirical evidence of collusion. This also helps explain why Spying Obama’s corrupt CIA director suppressed intelligence that actually showed that Russia wanted Crooked Hillary Clinton to win.

The Senate, after refusing to confirm John Ratcliffe as DNI, promptly confirmed him after Grenell started declassifying.

Since none of them will ever be held legally accountable, none will ever face punishment, and their crimes will be forgotten about by the public come election time, what is the point in their being desperate?

It does seem to drag on interminably, that pace leaves time for the reflection and consideration the prevents lawful investigation and prosecutions from turning into witch hunts and lynchings.

Attempted Coup, designed to overturn an election, perpetrators should be jailed or if they committed crimes that warrant it, shot.

New FBI document confirms the Trump campaign was investigated without justification.

But we’ll be lucky if they pay any serious price at all.

The FBI cannot begin to investigate anyone, especially a U.S. citizen or entity, without first creating a document that lists the reasonably suspicious factors that would legally justify the investigation. That’s FBI 101, taught Day 1 at the FBI Academy at Quantico, Va.

In a normal, legitimate FBI Electronic Communication, or EC, there would be a “To” and a “From” line. The Crossfire Hurricane EC has only a “From” line; it is from a part of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division whose contact is listed as Peter Strzok. The EC was drafted also by Peter Strzok. And, finally, it was approved by Peter Strzok. It's a document created by Peter Strzok, approved by Peter Strzok, and sent from Peter Strzok to Peter Strzok.

The document is an absurdity, violative of all FBI protocols and, therefore, invalid on its face. An agent cannot approve his or her own case; that would make a mockery of the oversight designed to protect Americans. Yet, for this document, Peter Strzok was pitcher, catcher, batter and umpire.

All the names on the “cc” or copy line; are redacted, save Strzok’s, who, for some reason, felt it necessary to copy himself on a document he sent from himself to himself.

Names on an FBI document are always listed with the most senior at the top and on down to the least senior. On this EC, Strzok is listed last, so the redacted names are senior to him. Those names are likely then-FBI Director James Comey, then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and then-Counterintelligence Assistant Director Bill Priestap. The document also establishes these redacted names as “case participants.”

The Crossfire Hurricane case was opened as a Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) investigation. A FARA investigation involves a criminal violation of law — in this case, a negligent or intentional failure to register with the U.S. government after being engaged by a foreign country to perform services on its behalf — that is punishable by fines and imprisonment. It is rarely investigated.

In a normal EC opening a FARA case, we should expect to see a list of reasons why the FBI believes individuals associated with a U.S. presidential campaign had been engaged by the Russian government to represent and advocate that government’s goals.

This is no normal EC. Those reasons are not found anywhere in the document. Australian diplomat, Andrew Downer, met a low-level Trump campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos, in a London bar for drinks; Downer then reported the conversation, which eventually made its way to U.S. officials in London.

The Strzok EC quotes verbatim an email authored by Downer. Downer claims Papadopoulos “suggested” to him that the Trump team had received “some kind of suggestion” of assistance from Russia regarding information damaging to Hillary Clinton and President Obama. In other words, a suggestion of a suggestion.

Strzok took this nebulous reporting by Downer and laundered it to the self-serving conclusion that Papadopoulos and unnamed others were engaged by the Russians to act as foreign agents on Russia’s behalf. This, despite Downer also offering two exculpatory statements in the same email: 1) It was “unclear” how the Trump campaign might have reacted to the Russian claims and 2) the Russians likely were going to do what they were going to do with the information whether anyone in the Trump campaign cooperated with them or not.

Strzok then concludes the EC by moving the goalposts. He writes that Crossfire Hurricane is being opened to determine if unspecified “individual(s)” associated with the Trump campaign are “witting of and/or coordinating activities” — also unspecified — “with the Government of Russia.” He doesn’t even mention Papadopoulos.

There was no attempt by Strzok to articulate any factors that address the elements of FARA. He couldn’t, because there are none. Instead, there was a weak attempt to allege some kind of cooperation with Russians by unknown individuals affiliated with the Trump campaign, again, with no supporting facts listed.

This FBI document clearly establishes that Crossfire Hurricane was an illicit, made-up investigation lacking a shred of justifying predication, sprung from the mind of someone who despised Donald Trump, and then blessed by leadership at the highest levels who harbored their own now well-established biases.

No reasonable FBI counterintelligence squad supervisor in the field would have approved and opened that Strzok EC. They know the rules too well.

Our nation was subjected to an investigation of a presidential campaign that had no legitimate predication; that spawned a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act intercept of a U.S. citizen that had no legitimate predication; that resulted in a confrontation with a new administration’s national security adviser that had no legitimate predication; and, finally, that led to an expensive special counsel investigation that had no legitimate predication.

The rule of law, upon which the FBI rests its very purpose and being, was callously discarded by corrupt leaders who sought their personal agendas, egos, biases and politics. Accountability is demanded by the American people. We better see some.

~ Americans are increasingly getting the truth about corrupt politicians and a DOJ that looks the other way. If certain people are not indicted , convicted and sent to prison the U.S. Constitution is meaningless and we will lose the Republic .
I believe there are those in the leftist media that are also just as liable .

I agree, but, we have some fundamental problems with the way these spying authorities are crafted. For example, I can't locate any prescribed criminal penalties for improper unmasking of political opponents. Our Legislators are not protecting us, and still, show little interest in doing so. FISA authorities have to be regularly reauthorized. In the last authorization, just this March, only 16 out of a 100 Senators voted no. And only two of those No votes were Republicans! We could triple the opposition to reforming FISA and still come up six votes short. And this is after horrific abuse, none a secret to US Senators.

This is a very real problem.

Hopefully Durham's report will bring to light the things that need to be done.

~ Yes exactly an understatement. Only about 15% of Capitol Hill work "for the people " and at this point none are Democrat. Can't count on most Republicans - only some. Hopefully more will come to the surface soon .
