Trump’s NatSec Advisor Robert O’Brien Drains the Swamp, Cuts Staff to HALF of Obama-Era Levels

We call that a GOOD START!

The first strike against The Swamp was by the Trumpster when he fired the Vindman Twins. Then our fearless President struck another blow against The Swamp when he canned another 70 Obama Leftovers.

President Trump’s national security adviser Robert C. O’Brien has dramatically slashed the size of the National Security Council — reducing the headcount to half of what it was during the Obama era, The Post has learned.

Condoleezza Rice had 115, Spying Obama bloated it to 240 staff pukes. Should be down to 105 by Labor Day.

“Under previous administrations, the NSC more than doubled in size and duplicated many of the functions of DoD, State and the intelligence community,” O’Brien told The Post on Tuesday.
We don't need Doubling or Duplication.

“Under President Trump, we have brought the NSC back to its proper size and role as a coordinating body,” he continued.

Right Sizing Government is LONG Overdue. Some of these Bloated Blue States with unafordable public employee pension plans will likely have to right size as well.

“To make that happen we require the best leaders, many of whom are women. Our goal is always to find the very best professionals for each job, and I am very proud of the team we have assembled at the NSC to further President Trump’s agenda,” he said.

Only the very best are entitled to the honor of working for President TRUMP on behalf of the American People!

I don't really care what the number is as long as it's enough to fulfill its mandate. Too few can be as bad as too many...

I don't know why it has taken four years. The Obama loyalists should have been shown the door January 2017. We are better off to risk being understaffed than to risk being staffed with anti-America Obama loyalists and leakers and potential saboteurs.

Trump has hired four different National Security Advisors in just 3 1/2 years ... people are quitting and they just aren't refilling
the posts. Trump is a nut job and a bad judge of character.

It's taken four years because Trump has hired FOUR different National Security Advisors in just 3 1/2 years. Nobody has been there long enough to learn the job. Trump is a joke when it comes to staffing.

Every government department could be cut in half. No one would notice except for the leeches that were let go.

He's done the same with the state department. The problem with gutting the state department it's like flying an airline jet and removing the instrument panel.

It costs a little extra, but when you are at the helm of the most powerful job in the world, you need it to keep the Country on the right track. Without a fully staffed state department, you are flying blind.

Half the ambassadorships are not filled.

Trump does more with less. Michelle Obama had a huge staff and still looked like crap.

Yeah, that concept worked real well with the disbanding of the Pandemic office, didn't it??

Fortunately, we'll be properly ramped up again in 2021..
