How much more blatant and in your face can they be? They must think people can't look at a graph and see what's happening. Worse still, people on the left will now cite this graph and say democrat districts are doing better than republican districts.

I don't know about the left - it's variable - but Pepsi conservatives (liberals) certainly behave as you've indicated.

You can almost feel some empathy for them, until you remember that they have the potential to turn the nation into a steaming pile of feces.

Those ten percent of our total congressional districts which are primarily in Mass,Conn,N.Y,,N.J also happen to have the highest concentration of population in the USA ....people per square mile. They also pay the taxes to support many RED STATES!!!!

Democrat districts have much higher population density than man Republican districts, it hardly a surprise that
there would be different ratios in those areas. It's the same all over the world - high density areas have more infections.

    Ain't rocket science.

I find no such headline on the Pew Research Center's website.

    https://www.pewresearch.org/topics/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/

I'm not a Twitter user, but following your link leads to a tweet within whi the link is to this report:

    https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-ta...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

That headline would appear to be bogus. I hope Twitter is not where you get your information.

That does seem to be a problem then, huh? So what do you suppose democrats should do about their density problem?

They pay higher taxes because they have higher incomes. Democrats like for people with higher income to pay more taxes. So what is the problem?

You're all as bad as each other. Maybe a better question would be why you're all obsessing over whether districts are democrat or republican and ignoring all the actual reasons different areas have been affected differently.

Their "density problems" add $ trillions of dollars to the GDP each year, California and NY account for for 20% of GDP of the Country - so don't be thinking that it''s all negative.

It's almost like the Democrat governors of a few cities finally figured out that it's a bad idea to put COVID patients in nursing homes.

A graph from a centrist and highly reliable source provides proof, "How the left spins statistics and headlines," exactly how?

Like Cuomo said, NY is on the other side of the mountain now. I knew NY would get there eventually. Them subways killed a lot of people.

Hmm.. so now you're saying it's not a problem? But it is, is it not? So what you call productive has the negative effect of also being hugely dangerous, no? So, again, what do you suppose democrats would do about their density problem?

I think most can't see the forest for the trees. OP isn't talking about the data in the graph. He's talking about how that data is characterized by the media. The media could have just as easily pointed out that Democrat districts are sicker, but they fixate on how Democratic districts have improved more, even though they are still sicker than Republican districts ever were.

Do? Like what? Relocate voters to rural or suburban areas?

People live in cities for a lot of reasons. They live in cities because their chances of being gainfully employed increase exponentially. They live in cities because they like urban culture. They live in cities because they are more comfortable when surrounded by other people.

That most city dwellers are Democrats shouldn't be surprising. If you rub elbows with people of multiple cultures, social tolerance usually results, and socially tolerant people tend to be liberals. Minorities live in cities, and the Democratic party is much more welcoming and inclusive. (That's a fact, whether the right can admit it or not.)

Republicans are a minority party today. Most Americans are slightly left-leaning centrists.

Little-known factoid: the denser the brain, the faster the neurons fire. Don't let your head get too big. :)

The link is there in the first one, no need to scroll down. Pew Research did not use that headline on their website. I looked.

Sorry, but I do my level best to avoid Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.

Hmm... if the issue is density, why do liberals and democrats continue to produce it? They live off of it, literally. You defend it, and yet, it is the density that is proving to actually, once again and has been demonstrated throughout history, be the problem. Hmm...

How the eff do you expect a political party to dictate where people live? In way way do they live off of it? That makes no sense.

I defend nothing. I merely provided facts along with a reasonable understanding of why people like living in cities.

That graph title is completely and 100% accurate.
    How is it “spin”?
