Obama had some issues with white people and I didn't like him. But I never saw him do anything to participate a race war.

We don't disagree. I was merely pointing out that your claim that nobody is defending this cop is wrong. There are several people saying he did nothing wrong. It's approved technique, it's all George's fault...yadayadayada.

as it should be, same with the cop, we should be sure both will be brought to justice, that is what people want, we want to know neither will get a hand slap or a paid action

agree, it was like as he heard the bystanders say he was killing the man, he was just trying to egg them on to attack him or something, was very cold

You mean Obama was not to blame just like Trump is not to blame? Is the Dem Party leadership and its media outlets to blame for encouraging the riots then and now?

even in the end, when he knew the man needed medical help, the cop refused to remove his knee

It didn't take leftwinglandia long to try deflect away from the fact that these police incidents occur in cities run by the left.

With respect to Kaepernick, he is perceived as disrespecting a country that has treated him very well. Did it ever occur to you that many people have put their life on the line and been maimed or wounded for the flag that Kaepernick disrespects? So while his disrespect is a cavalier issue to you, I hope you can at least consider why it is not cavalier issue to others.

I have to add that IMHO any true conservative is upset about police brutality which represents the sort of abuse that represents a general danger of all governments. As Jefferson said, “Experience hath shown, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.”

But what can I say. Carry on. Keep voting for liberal Democrats. :salute:

It's just the same ol' same ol'. A black man dies while resisting arrest and so the Left riots and loots and commits arson. They commit crimes of opportunity for both fun and profit. Then the justice system -- that was already in motion and dealing with the issue BEFORE the rioting, discovers -- usually anyway -- that the officers involved did not do what the race agitating political Left claimed that they did. The nation then runs after the next political squirrel that comes along. Rinse, wash, repeat.

when did he resist arrest, he was handcuffed when the cop did this

"In the 911 call on Memorial Day that drew police, the caller describes a man suspected of paying with counterfeit money"

we have yet to hear if the money was even really counterfeit

Blah, blah, blah. The political Left did this sort of crapola many times during the Obama administration years -- rioting, looting, arson -- and then a year or so after the event it usually turned out that the officers involved actually did nothing wrong and the court system -- under the Obama administration -- let them go with an apology for having wrongly accused them in the first place based on nothing more than Political Correctness and leftist politics.

and now the Trump admin has the same problem, maybe it's time to address it, let's get rid of bad cops, let's make it a crime for other cops to ignore it when they see it

let's make all cops guilty for the murder when one cop murders someone that they do nothing... a law similar to what we have for civilians

Wait this is somehow Trump's fault but none of it was Obama's fault? It's Trump's fault that a Dem Party governor and a Dem Party major are screw-ups?

How is being hand cuffed, laying face down on the ground and not moving “resisting”?

How is NOT killing someone with a knee lightly resting on the neck -- according to the autopsy -- somehow a cop murdering a suspect?

hmmm, maybe you did not read that correctly "and now the Trump admin has the same problem"

'same problem', that means Obama had it too, will Trump handle it better, we will see - this problem has been around for a long long time

that is not what the autopsy said, and anyone that saw the video knows the cops handling of this case is why the man is dead

if a cop pushed an elderly black woman down the stairs, I think some would say, she had a bad heart, she would have died anyways

Uh, the autopsy report said the knee to the neck contributed to his death.

I’ll ask again, how is being hand cuffed, laying face down on the ground not moving “resisting”?

I love how now everyone is “interpreting” the video. And it is the right that is playing politics on this one.

George Floyd died in a 12 minute video begging for his life while 4 police officers held him down, and one of them killed him knowing full well what he was doing.

No “party” is to blame. But to deny that we still have a race and class problem in this country is to ignore the reality right in front of our faces
