    The title is quite revealing considering the period we're going through...

    His position is simple: Trump inserted himself into the GOP like a parasite and destroyed the founding principles of the party, such as fiscal responsibility, balance budget, rule of law personnal discipline and integrity.

    Very true. The GOP has become the Trump party. Even if he wins in November, which I think he will, Republicans will pay a heavy price down the road.

    This cycle could put the party in the wilderness, but the most telling notion Wilson conveyed at the end of the video was our representatives are willing to do anything to hold onto their jobs.

    That careerism is a cancer on our system.

    Well, lets hope it's not dead as I don't think most will like this new Democratic Party developing. It's nothing like the Party of my Father, my five siblings or mine. I'm not sure what it is anymore.

    The Title is dumb - and this fellows position is stupid.

    Destruction of the founding principles/ rule of law and lack Fiscal Responsibility and integrity existed long before Trump hit the scene.

    Trump is not the problem - he is however a symptom of the problem.

    You used to have to be an "Obama doormat" to be accepted in the Democratic Party, and it survived just fine, even though it moved on from Obamaism after he left office.
