After years of black men unjustifiably getting killed by cops and the cops NOT going to jail, WTF do people expect to happen when this is added to a country going bankrupt due to ill preparedness to deal with a pandemic?

How about black men killing other black men? Statistically it's BY FAR a greater issue. Or how about the disparity in crime and violence of black on white vs. white on black?

 

What protests? Haven't seen a protest yet.

 

My target was open, I bought an umbrella. Didnt see anything strange here either. Its actually a really fascinating contrast.

In 30-40 cities (some) people are really pissed off to the point of protesting or worse they are Rioting, burning.

in the other thousand cities. Zip. Not saying they arent pissed (i'm pissed), but they sure as hell aren't making a big presentation of it.

It's like 2% are outraged, 98% have already moved along and will let the wheels turn.

 

The anecdotes of police brutality are something I can agree with, on a case by case basis.

The larger narratives that blacks are just out there minding their own business and just constantly being subjugated by racism and killed...is nonsense.

 

My thoughts are these. The police officer has been arrested. Justice will now be done. So, why are we still looting the food king? Simple answer. The folks doing the looting expect that they are entitled, absent any actual repercussions that they can get away with it. Simple stuff. Democrats opened the doors to the prisons. Democrats told us that the lockdown was for our own good. Now, with rioting in the streets because these protests turned ugly and violent, democrats promise martial law to further enforce the lockdown and the erosion of the rights of citizens entirely.

This is entirely intentional. It is, and has ever been, the wish of the NDP to enforce their ridiculous whims on the people absent their consent. We are witnessing this as we are still able to write against it. When martial law is enacted and the tech giants all unanimously adopt the measure of censure, where will we be?

This is, and has always been the danger of the progressive agenda. It has to ultimately end in the cessation of civil rights in the US, and to institution of social and civil authoritarianism to control the people. We've seen this movie before. Nations around the globe have succumbed to this fertile progressivism. We must not allow it to take hold in this nation.

 

I expect civilized people to act civilized.
I expect leaders to uphold their oaths to maintain law & order.
I expect savage mobs to be put down.

 

You mean after all those years that Barack Obama endlessly race-agitated and did his level best to kick off a race war over each and every event and yet almost without fail ALL of the events over which enraged Blacks rioted about and looted and burned and mugged over were ultimately dismissed by the court systems UNDER Barack Obama? Time and time again it turned out that racist and murderous White cops were prove by Obama's very own justice system to have been neither racist nor murderous.

So things were done under the law; and for three and a half years there were no race riots under Trump in comparison to Obama's nearly constant race riots. What changed? The Dems are running senile Joe Biden who keeps alienating Blacks every time he opens his mouth? Solution? Encite violent riots and then blame everything on Trump FOR strictly cynical political reasons in order to make Biden look better in comparison.

Oh . . . and what these enraged animals -- between bouts of looting television burning down businesses and murdering other people -- really want is . . . a . . . lynching of White police officers without a trial.

All I've seen is rioting-looting-burning. Ain't been no protests.

 

A good example of how not to handle unrest, riots and anarchy. If you want to protect yourself from the barbarians at the gate, you do not feed them cookies and milk.

Detroit burned in the late 60's. The result was smart people and businesses who didn't want to risk it happening again left Detroit for the suburbs and other cities. Those who left were middle and upper class blacks and whites. Detroit declined from one of the most prosperous cities in the world to a midwest basket case. There hasn't been a Republican Mayor since the 60's. No one will live in a place where the buildings may burn and those who can escape will. People who left were called racist. Imagine - you are racist for not wanting to risk your business and home being burned.

Minneapolis is doomed.

 

Detroit is a typical -- quintessential really -- example of what Democrat governance can do to a city.

 

Waiting on a Biden statement.

 

1. Police are there to protect ALL citizens fairly and equally (that's what ALL Americans pay taxes for)...NOT use excessive force to the point of death, and then NOT be fully prosecuted by the law for that despite overwhelming evidence.
2. Black on black crime has been decried by Black leadership for years...but when they propose solutions like fair housing, bank loans, employee hiring...suddenly folk like you grow silent or try and switch the subject...especially when it's pointed out that the majority of such crimes occur in poverty stricken areas...just like with non-black folk. Also, if you want to play the statistics game, get the raw number of murders committed by black folk, then the actual population of black people in America. Less than 1% of the population are doing such crimes.
3. Let's see the actual raw numbers of black on white vs. white on black crime. Where do these crimes occur. Details, my man, details.
4. Why is it that folk like you have a seizure when your stats are applied to whites committing sexual crimes?

 

then you need to see an optometrist. Meanwhile, get an adult to explain to you what's going on. Or maybe you should buy a radio and turn on the news? Or read a newspaper?

 

Are you saying the sheriff in the OP video is not upholding his oath and did not maintain law and order?
Was the cop who killed that man for a suspected misdemeanor (passing a phony $20) being civilized? Was his partner's who did nothing? Where the savages who showed up with guns & rifles to gripe about not being let out of quarantine to work and shop "civilized"? Should they have been put down? Are the ANNUAL property destroying "spring break" folk civilized? Should they have been put down?

 

Faux outrage over a myth. Different races get killed by cops and they are called criminals.
