Why no coverage of the riots?

Citizens have rules that are not open to interpretation, personal intuition, gut feelings, hairs on the back of your neck, little devils or angels sitting on your shoulder.

American's are well aware of what our orders are and what those orders mean from Police. They come down from our Commander in Chief. They contain no ambiguity.

You know when Trump, the president of low expectations, sends the Feds after antiFa it will be the biggest joke of his presidency. Mostly because the antiFa that he, and you, so joyously hate does not exist and has never existed.

Now there are the anti fascists who go out of their way to stand up to racists and fascists, to impede their rallies and propaganda. And I'm sure you hate them all the same. But it makes you all look rather silly to get all relied up over ghosts. And ghosts from your own imaginations at that.

The last time I responded to one of your posts you reported me because you claimed I insulted you, when I merely pointed out the error in your argument. So I know a little about your character. Especially considering that your current post seems to exist for no other reason than to insult and demean. But, you see, I have a rather healthy ego. I really doubt you can hurt my feelings.

So what, did Mark Levin explain to you all about the antiFa, and now you are the big antiFa expert?

It may come as a surprise to you but I have been sitting here in my lofty non-ivy tower. Because, you know ivy is an invasive spieces in Oregon, so I would never let ivy grow up my lofty tower. Which is kind of weird because I tried and tried to get ivy to grow in Colorado, and was all but impossible. It must be one of those plants that just does not like high altitudes. Which is kind of why I moved to Oregon. Oregon has the best growing conditions of any place on Earth. Pretty much throw out some seeds, and watch it grow. Serendipitously global warming has caused increased yields for most plants in Oregon.

Anyhow, back to the story. From my lofty tower I can see most of the Portland City Center. At night, when things are going on, I can see the flashing lights. But it is too far to see any details. But my son, until recently lived in the Pearl District, on the edge of the city center, where all the yuppy towers are. He is into photography and I have often accompanied him on walks through the city center while he takes pictures. We were there at the first Patriot Prayer rally which was kind of lame and unorganized, and at the second when a crowd of thousands showed up to counter protest. There were only about twenty anti fascists who got into a street brawl the Patriot Prayer instigated and fought with glee. Yet if one listens to right wing rhetoric you'd think it was just some crazy antiFa attacking freedom loving Patriots who were just trying to practice their right to free speech. I just don't get the part where cowardly spraying bear spray into the crowd while telling everyone in Portland to F$#@ off and die is exactly just someone wanting to exercise their first amendment rights.

The mayor had decided that the Patriot Prayer and their allies, the Proud Boys were nothing but trouble makers and as such denied them permits to have marches and rallies in Portland. To get around that, the Patriot Prayer got a permit to hold rallies in the park across from the federal building which is federal property.

Eventually the police gathered up enough evidence and began arresting members of the Patriot Prayer, and soon after all the violence stopped. The last hurrah was when some Proud Boys came to town to hold a rally in defense of men accused of rape.

At some point Andy Ngo, a right wing shock jock provocateur wanna be got beat up by a rape survivor. He sure talked tough, until he was beaten badly by a girl. And in his humiliation, he was pelted with milkshakes.



I suppose you you could go through life thinking you know everything there is to know on the subject. But that would be selling yourself short, would it not? After all, if there is something that you don't know, that is making you look a bit foolish for not knowing, being the know it all and all.

Do you know what I find so entertaining about the protests and riots? Other than the fact that I rather enjoy a little chaos ever now and then. It has been laying bare, for all the world to see, who the real authoritarians are. Conservatives just love, and I mean just love, the way Trump loves to make love to the flag, many conservatives just love to insist that liberals are authoritarians. Which is just funny.

Then comes along the protests and what does the conservative world want to do, along with our moronic president? Shut down the protests in the most authoritarian manner.

So from now on, it is quite clear which side is authoritarian. But not all is lost. One could always see the light and repent. After all, us liberals tend to live more interesting lives.

It would help if you looked at the different national news sites in order to see that the riots are being covered.

CNN and other left wing media outlets and writers are telling outright lies about the riots and who is causing the meyhem. It's disgusting and it is inching this country closer and closer to an outright Civil War. We can't live in a country where people outright lie and encourage the destruction of our communities and cities. Especially those in power and those who claim to be "journalists".

NY Gov. Cuomo and Mayor De Blasio should be arrested and real leadership put in to stop the rioting. They are encouraging it and it needs to be stopped.
