It is pure exaggeration. When people have to exaggerate to make their point, you can be sure that much of what they say is not true.
True but he is also the president who does a ton of good for America. Yes, I realize you don't see that. He isn't a dictator. He has followed Obama's lead by going around congress to make executive orders that are then reviewed by the justice system. It is faster, of course, but it puts partisanship where it doesn't belong in government. The partisanship belongs in the halls of congress.
Trump is a negative, he's doing this country far more harm than good. In fact, he's going down as the worst president in history. His incessant bloviating, petty rants, his trolling the left ( he makes no effort to unite the country, he only cares about what his base thinks ). Then there's his tariffs which are destroying small farms. His tax cuts have caused the debt and deficit to careen out of control. Every time he opens his mouth, it's cringe-worthy, nauseating. What amazes me is how his base doesn't see it, but they are blinded by a guy who appeals to mankind's worst instincts. They love it when he 'owns the libs', they like that. Well, I hate to break it to you, but that is about the worst quality for a president that a president can have. You can't make something great if you are a petty small man. He's not making the country great, he's dragging us down into a mire. This is a man-child who does juvenile things. Take that photo op in front of the church flashing the Bible, literally making a prop of a sacred text. I don't think you understand how incredibly moronic that was. And I haven't touched on his lawlessness, disrespect of the rule of law, his fawning over dictators is unprecedented, his 'we are in love' to KJU, who is a murderer, his obsequiousness over Putin, who is also a murderer. No president in history has done such a thing, he's an affront to all former presidents. You have been blinded by this man, mesmerized. Not to mention the numerous incredibly stupid words that come from his mouth. He's a con man, the world's greatest huckster of whom P.T. Barnum would have been proud. I wouldn't say that his sole thought is public image, although it is important to him. My take is that his sole thought, at this point, is about re election. His decisions seem to be made based upon which group he can appease. Whether it is the evangelicals by opening the churches or his base by calling in the military. I will give him credit for having a strategy, but I wish it were more about running the country than his re election.
