I’m sure Portland is a much nicer place to live than where 95% of conservatives live. Half of conservatives couldn’t afford to live here. It is the way highly liberal areas keep out the riff raff. Make them so nice that only liberals will live there. I think they claim that Portland has the greatest per capita use of its library system. I’m also pretty sure that they have a greater amount of park land than just about anywhere. It also has one of the lowest murder rates in the country. Like a tenth the national average. And it has a natural beauty that is second to none.

Portland is a big place. There are about two and a half million people. Which brings me up to another point. Conservatives like to pretend that Portland has such a horrible homeless problem. Yet when one looks up the numbers, Portland is the 25th most populous city, yet its homeless problem comes in at 49th. Thus Portland’s homeless problem is less of a problem than it is in most cities

So anyhow there are two and a half million people living in the Portland area. Spread out over a rather large area. In the middle, well not exactly the middle, but sort of the middle is the city center where the City Hall and other government buildings reside. There is an area of about 6 blocks on a side, and Portland blocks are half the size of other cities, where most of the protests occur. Most people of Portland rarely go down there. Yet conservative rhetoric is so shallow as to pretend that a one off incident by one or two people are representative of two and a half million people.

The most horrific crime in Portland in the last decade came when a fellow who marched with right wing gangs, after yelling racial slurs at two black women, stabbed three men killing two of them on the city’s mass transit train.

I understand that conservatives have a need for an “enemy” to hate on but most of what you hate about Portland is not representative of what Portland is. But hey, if the right wing propaganda discourages conservatives from coming here, all the better.

 

So why was this case the one to make the entire nation implode like never before? Why wasn't it Michael Brown Garner or Rice?

 

Believe me champ, I’ll take living out in the country over some liberal shithole any day of the week. You folks got nothing I need or want. Good luck with your large homeless population, and gay ninjas terrorizing old men in cars.

I get a kick out of throwing reality at conservatives. It is funny when one of them questions my honor because they are working with faulty information.

While the conservative world, led by our dumb as a box of rocks president, is blaming the violence on the anti fascists, they are ignoring the real culprits of the destruction, the anarchists. The destruction has their fingerprints all over it. Especially the burning of police stations and police cars, and the smashing of ATM machines and bank windows.

Does anyone not remember the riots in Seattle in 1999 protesting the WTO? This is clearly a Seattle like riots gone nationwide. Anarchists are nihilists who want to see the structure of society crumble.

You can find many videos of both, but in the majority of what videos I see, most are black. Enough so that to say white supremacist are behind it, is absurd.
