Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd issued a warning after ANTIFA and another radical group urged looter to go to to the suburbs and attack homeowners and take what is rightfully yours. Judd is well known for not being politically correct and is quick to talk to down media when they ask dumb questions, he is also known to call criminals names such as bonehead, brainless, idiots and fools, for trying to commit crimes against lawfully armed citizens. The Sheriff's views should be mandatory method of operation even on the streets of Washington, Philly, NYC, San Jose, Cleveland, Denver, etc...etc...etc... The ONLY warning that these slime "protesters" (rioters, looters, anarchists) should get from Law Enforcement or the NG/Military is the song, "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor" blasted over the loudspeakers.
Something worth noting- if we actually needed some additional justification for the right to keep assault weapons and own high-capacity magazines, all one has to do is watch the evening news and see lootings and arson being committed openly, being observed by police, without any effort to stop them. We are the first line of defense for ourselves against such people, not the police. The rioters are proving that to people, and gun sales are setting records- again. Grady Judd is right. Be trained, be skilled, and be strong- because people like those you see on the streets rioting don't give a damn about your life or property.
If certain individuals truly do not understand that committing violence against others is without justification, they deserve whatever consequences they experience as a result.
I have always felt that when you break into my home, your civil rights end when you cross the threshold, and whatever happens to you is your own fault. Seems we agree on that.
And right now- the police aren't coming at all in many major cities. Ask yourself about this: Stores in these exposed areas post warning signs, inside the glass- stating that anyone breaking in, attempting arson or looting, will be shot. The perimeter of the building is the demarcation line, just as your door or window would be at home. Inside, visible guards stand ready, armed with riot shotguns loaded with buckshot. Their are cameras watching the possible points of entry too; recording what they happens. I'd be willing to bet that nobody would enter those stores; it will not be necessary to fire a weapon- the presence of the weapons and the assurance of consequences will get the job done. Some might throw rocks from a place back in the crowd, but these people aren't really stupid. They don't care if their violence hurts others in any way, but they don't want to die. So long as their are no consequences, they are going to be thugs. NO amount of appeasement is going to satisfy them, it will only prove to them that there will be no consequences. IF they were honorable people, they wouldn't be there in the first place. These people are grabbing low-hanging fruit (easy thefts) and getting kicks out of vandalism and violence- but faced with serious consequence, they will develop better manners fast. If they don't, they become the message to others who will.
When people watch this civil insurrection on the news and see people being pulled from their cars and beat even staunch anti-gunners develop a desire to survive and they admit to themselves a gun is the only answer, at which point the feel good about being anti-gun goes out the window and they arm up.

The liberals who have been eroding the moral character of the nation for decades are now seeing the fruits of that effort coming back to destroy their nation, seeing the need to be armed, that the need to be able to defend their homes and families is real- and that those who they must defend themselves from are the very monsters they have created by embracing their liberal ideology. Will they learn anything from this?
What they learn they will keep to themselves while still demanding the rest of us be disarmed for the good of society.
We see from the recent events in Georgia that the establishment is going to work at discouraging that whole 'first responders' argument; in that state the GOP is leading the pogrom against three unfortunate proles who thought they had rights, but are finding out that is no longer the case, and they will be railroaded into prison. The GOP is fishing for black votes, and need some "Great White Defendants", as these hapless guys are called by the DA's and lawyers in the legal system, since they're rare compared to violent black criminals and prosecutors who plan on seeking public office like the photo ops of a few white guys they've convicted in their resumes. Elsewhere we see the war on white cops escalating as well. We live in interesting times indeed. Why the emphasis on prosecuting whites at this point in time? Is it becoming clear the DNC and RNC have been running just another 'Good Cop-Bad Cop" scam on the public yet again?
I have no problem with shooting intruders into ones home - enter someone elses home at night, that is attempted suicide imo I say be careful though, don't be shooting ones spouse or children in error that said, I also think ex-felons have a right to protect their homes and families with a gun too - owning a gun is a right, not a privilege
The Georgia case does highlight a problem, though; I'm all for concealed carry, but I'm against open carry, and the Arbuery case is an example of why. All one does with open carry is make oneself a target for a wresting match with violent crazies and criminals. Keep them hidden until you plan to use them.
Then perhaps said spouses and minors should not be attempting to sneak into the residence in a suspicious manner after dark when they should be home at a reasonable hour.
And one relinquishes that right by becoming a felon, furthermore someone who cannot within the lines of a civilized society is hardly qualified to possess a firearm..
This last week, if nothing else, has laid bare all the anti gun arguments and has proven them to be as full of s#!t as they always have been.
Precisely- the need to be able to defend yourself has always been real, and now everyone sees what kind of trash lives among us that we might well have to defend ourselves from. I'd bet many of those on the street are anti-gun people. That would make it safer to be what they are....
