James Mattis denounces President Trump,Describes Him as a threat to the Constitution

So now you you guys want the states to handle it. When Trump wanted to let the states handle opening back up their economies the left said he wasn't being a leader.

That is exactly one important reason sending in Federal regularroops to do policing is not only unConstitutionl but damgerous. I was only back from Vietnam for a short time when Kent State happened. In fact I was just back in college. I did not agree at all with the anti war demonstrators but I was sickened by the deaths of those students. I thanked God that it was not me holding a loaded weapon pointed at fellow American students demonstrating.

I took the same oath that Gen. Mattis did and no I do not take the taking of a life lightly even taking the life of a foreign enemy. Yet what I and virtually every military member do not want to do is being put in the position to take the life of a fellow American. That is what Gen. Mattis was saying but not in those words.

Oh for pity sake would you stop the delusion speak? There is less and less reason for us to remain in the Middle East save for the oil, damn little of which the syrians have in the first place. There will likely be within the next decade a war between the Saudis and the Iraqis. The only questions is what to do about it and how likely is it to draw in the rest of the world.

The real problem is, however, China which wishes to rule the world. In three decades I think they will make a try if they don't fall apart from internal tensions and the odd sort of half and half economic system they've built.
