Prosecutors: 3 arrested on terrorism charges in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Three Nevada men with ties to a loose movement of right-wing extremists advocating the overthrow of the U.S. government have been arrested on terrorism-related charges in what authorities say was a conspiracy to spark violence during recent protests in Las Vegas.

Federal prosecutors say the three white men with U.S. military experience are accused of conspiring to carry out a plan that began in April in conjunction with protests to reopen businesses closed because of the coronavirus and later sought to capitalize on protests over the death of a Minneapolis man in police custody.

They were arrested Saturday on the way to a protest in downtown Las Vegas after filling gas cans at a parking lot and making Molotov cocktails in glass bottles, according to a copy of the criminal complaint obtained by The Associated Press.

The complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas on Wednesday said they self-identified as part of the “boogaloo” movement, which U.S. prosecutors said in the document is “a term used by extremists to signify coming civil war and/or fall of civilization.”

Stephen T. Parshall, 35, Andrew T. Lynam Jr., 23, and William L. Loomis, 40, were being held on $1 million bond each in the Clark County jail Wednesday, according to court records.

Each currently faces two federal charges — conspiracy to damage and destroy by fire and explosive, and possession of unregistered firearms — along with multiple terrorism-related state charges.

Court records don't list lawyers for the men.

This story is kind of confusing. At first the three WHITE men were going to carry out a plan back in April against the protesting of closed businesses due to the Coronavirus shutdown, and now there was a plan to capitalize on the protesting of the George Floyd murder. Aren’t the conservatives the ones who protested over the shutdown and the liberals the ones protesting over the Floyd murder? Which group are these three WHITE men against?

On a side note it’s funny how the media reports on the race of the three men, but mentions nothing about race of the man in custody that stabbed a NY cop in the neck, stole his gun and had a shoot out with cops injuring two of the officers.

This is kind of hilarious (in a sick way). Blacks riot and burn down their own community..... and here we have a bunch of white nationalists right there with them. Here's a clue to black "peaceful protesters"...... if white nationalists support what you are doing, you are probably doing the wrong thing.

Interesting that they were former military. For some, once conditioned to violence as a way of life, it becomes part of their DNA as it were.

Out of the tens of thousands that are looting and rioting they finally found three "white supremacists".

I wonder how many former Obama officials and celebs will rush to bail them out like they did with the rioting looting arsonists?

had they not been caught, sure Antifi would of been blamed for that one too

agree, no one should support the looters and rioters of any race

as for the peaceful protesters, I support their right to protest, on both sides even if disagree with them

It’s not that confusing the two events offered an opportunity (in their minds) to sow civil unrest.

The point being to create so much violence, chaos, and disorder that normal people will accept anything for the sake of order. There is a term used for it but it escapes me at the moment.

Many at the Michigan State Capitol protesting were loosely affiliated with the “cause”. There are reports of WS activity in eight states. A cache of weapons recovered in one arrest in Denver.

If there’s an opportunity to cause civil unrest our loon groups will seize it and that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone: left, right, center, East, West, North, South.

Hmm... are we sure that these "white nationalists" aren't still a part of the democratic plan? It seems they like painting with a wide, diverse brush, so who can know why these folks joined a BLM and ANTIFA uprising.

Didn't you realize that the Boogaloos have made a big mess to discredit the anti-racist message of the protesters?
