Speaking of Putin, Trump's stunt with the bible photo op was very Putineque, albeit in a childish way. Putin wears the guise of a devout Christian and uses a state church to help manipulate the Russian people into supporting him even as he undermines their interests to serve his own. He relies on propaganda to create this image of himself and is a shameless liar and hypocrite. Trump shares all of these qualities, but lacks the finesse and does it all instead with childish simplicity.

Why would anyone believe a military high command that has not managed to win a clear final victory in war over any enemy since 1945?
