Much of which will go right into the pockets of Minnesota politicians such as the Mayor, Omar, and AG Elison, and kicked back to the corrupt Congress. Can the President stop this ripoff? I mean, it is amazing. The fires still burning and the officials asking for money already to "rebuild."

Minneapolis Officials Estimate Damage at $55 Million
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey will ask for state and federal aid to help rebuild after the civil unrest.

Let Soros, Gates, and the Clintons bail them out.

Perhaps if things don't get rebuilt until the local economy pays for it the local citizenry will be less prone to riot.

Business leaders put the costs of these "protests" at over 1 $billion.
**** the Mayor of Minneapolis. Hopefully, he could beg for the rest of his life and not get a nickel out of Trump. That smarmy little prick dug his grave on night one by not allowing the police to do their job.

NOPE!!! You do NOT get to stand back and allow your city to be vandalized then ask the rest of us to pay for your utter apathy and pandering BS, because you were too cowardly and impotent to punish those responsible.

Start a go fund me and ask rich politicians, media personalities, celebrities and sports stars who clapped the whole time to fix the mess they supported.

Hmmm... guess folks in the Minneapolis just found out that destruction caused by riots isn't covered... Whoopsie.... Or the theft of goods during looting... double whoopsies... Often times, insurers won't pay for the destruction, and frankly why should they? Make those responsible, ie the looters, rioters and the protesters who spawned these acts financially responsible for them. What a revelation....

No and hell no. Don't let people burn stuff down and then ask for my taxpayer money. If my memory is correct I predicted the request for Federal funds as soon as the riot started.

My town Mayor stepped aside and let the Police chief handle it, nothing but peaceful protests. They did bust out some windows of 1 gas station.

The requests for federal aid shouldn't even reach Trump's desk.

If Democratic mayors are going to incite riots and let their cities get trashed, they can pay for the consequence of their recklessness and irresponsibility themselves.

    F**k Jacob Frey...

The mayor of the city near us (Lavar Stoney) stepped aside and let the rioters trash Richmond (VA). The damage is probably in the millions.

Governor Coonman, who was silent during the rioting and only sent the National Guard to the capitol to protect his own worthless hide, will probably stick taxpayers with the tab. If Stoney wants federal aid McConnell and Trump should tell him to go **** himself.

I was born in VA. Went to VCU. Spent a good part of my life in VA. It really hurts to see what liberals have done to this State.

This is why I say that Trump should NOT send in the military. Don't put them in harms way. Let the democrats handle their mess or watch their cities burn. Although, I really hope the rats fleeing the sinking ship wont come mess up the burbs like they messed up their city by voting for more democrats.

last month people were crying because they couldn't buy toilet paper or meat, to them it was a big deal. So what do those garbanzos do? They burn down the stores that sell toilet paper, meat and everything else. How soon will they be complaining about how they can no longer buy anything at the stores where a while back they only couldn't buy TP and meat?

Only idiotic people crap in their own house.

Well, I'll be darned - I'm a Ram myself (graduated from the School of the Arts in '87).

It sucks what happened to Richmond last weekend - Broad Street got trashed and those Leftist idiots lit up an apartment building about 3 blocks from Chamberlayne and the cops had to fight their way through the mob to save the occupants and clear the area for the firefighters. A lot of people are furious about how Stoney and Northam didn't do their jobs like Singer and McAuliffe didn't do theirs in C'ville a couple years ago. Democrats are letting things get out of control down here, and the ANSWERniks are getting bolder and more violent because of it.

No. They have the forces at their disposal to preserve order and they chose instead to let the Looters run rampant and I believe local politicians even marched with them.

I might support low interest loans directly to business owners that want to rebuild.

Not one penny to states that allowed the domestic terrorists destroy their cities.

They need to face the aftermath of their stand down orders.

And their unrest has been incredibly minor in comparison to other cities like St Louis, St Paul, Minneapolis, NYC, or LA.

And even though Houston, Dallas, and Austin are bastions of leftist recklessness, lawlessness, and corruption, there is still a conservative governor and enough self-reliant, self-responsible, hard-working taxpayers in those places to temper the city politicians' misguided policies and direction.

    Amen.

I know for a fact that the rioting in Richmond, Virginia could have been prevented, just like the rioting in Charlottesville, but the mayor didn't prevent it. We ALL saw it coming but he did nothing, even though he had enough police to do the job.

It was only AFTER downtown got trashed on Saturday night that he decided to impose a curfew on the city and send more cops out to the protests/riots. The police could have gotten some backup from the National Guard (as was the case in Charlottesville), but they were left standing around guarding our worthless governor at the capitol instead of helping the cops secure the streets.
