A long way to catch up to the Woodrow Wilson Spanish Flu death toll of 625,000.

Or the 2-1/2 million we were told.
Following the Op's logic Trump saved the lives of nearly 2,400,000 lives.

That settles it! I'm definitely NOT voting for Wilson.

And this is a long way from being over.

You must be ecstatic that human suffering and death gives you an opportunity to blame Trump. It takes a profound amount of mindlessness to believe Trump is responsible for a virus. Be safe.

675,000 Americans died from that flu, and an estimated 30-50 million world wide.

It started out as a mild flu in the Spring of that year, then became much more contagious and deadly that Fall. I don't know about you, but I'm bracing for that second, more intense wave of COVID-19 this Fall and continuing through the Winter, at least. And our federal government is doing nothing to prepare for it. In fact, the limp response "team" we've had up till now is already disbanded, as if the virus had been magically swept away. Effing idiots.

Have you ever noticed that every fictional apocalypse is a sudden event? Everything is fine, then suddenly there's an asteroid coming our way, or dead people becoming brain eating zombies. Well, I think the real apocalypse will start with a wimper and slowly become a maelstrom of catastrophe, like a hurricane announcing itself with a few drops of rain and a gust of wind.

Trump is NOT "responsible for the virus".

Trump IS responsible for the selfish and idiotic statements and decisions he has made since.

Our Trump conservative plan is proceeding like clockwork. We infected the blue states of NY, NJ, IL, MA, PA and CA. Just give it a few more months to let the virus incubate in all those protestors that didn’t wear masks or social distance from those blue states and hopefully the Trump death toll will be lingering around a million.

Hey paperboy, you do know that Coronavirus is one word. Let’s get that headline right next time. We don’t want everyone thinking the left is a bunch of idiots.

Yeah, about that ... the states with the highest death rates per 100,000 people are:

    West Virginia
    Mississippi
    Kentucky
    Alabama
    Louisiana
    Arkansas
    Oklahoma
    Tennessee
    Ohio
    Indiana

Do you see any blue states in that list? No, I think not.

Really? New York with a population of 19.5 million and 24,133 COVID19 deaths has a lower mortality rate than Ohio with 2,339 COVID19 deaths? I suppose you think Ohio only has a population of 2 million.

New Jersey with a population of 8.9 million and 11,970 COVID19 deaths has a lower mortality than Alabama with 651 COVID19 deaths? I suppose you think Alabama only has a population of 450,000.

You better recheck your facts because your numbers are nowhere close to the facts.

    Dude, it’s friggin basic math.

New York with 19.5 million population is 100,000 people 195 times. So, 24,133 COVID19 deaths divided by 195 is 123.75.
New York has a COVID19 death rate of 123.75 per 100,000 population.

New Jersey with 8.9 million population is
100,000 people 89 times. So, 11,970 COVID19 deaths divided by 89 is 134.50. New Jersey has a COVID19 death rate of 134.50 per 100,000 population.

Ohio with 11.7 million population is 100,000 people 117 times. So, 2,339 COVID19 deaths divided by 117 is 20. Ohio has a COVID19 death rate of 20 per 100,000 population.

Alabama with 4.9 million population is 100,000 people 49 times. So, 651 COVID19 deaths divided by 49 is 13.28. Alabama has a COVID19 death rate of 13.28 per 100,000 population.

New York and New Jersey have nearly a 10 times greater COVID19 death rate than Alabama.

Was this easy enough basic math for you or should I work the problems out with long division?

Sorry, but if you didn't know better than to listen to him for the last 3 years, you can't blame him for what happens to you. In the end, his rose colored view turned out to be more accurate than the oppositions "world is coming to an end" view.

Trump's rose-colored-view has turned out to be accurate in any way is nuts!

Even Trump's supposedly wonderful news of the incredible economy is a joke. As a one-time Republican, to do massive cut taxes for the wealthiest, to get rid of regulations that will allow the environment and people to suffer is creating the worst deficits and least benefits for working people and the sick and elderly to be made to pay to the billionaires has been no accomplishment at all.

These disasters or pending disasters (the huge deficits are were terrible even without a pandemic) to the USA are quite similar to every Republican president in the last 30 years. Except on steroids!

It is not mathematically possible for tax cuts to create a deficit. Only spending can do that. If your opinion is that the government has proven to be responsible with our tax dollar and should be trusted with even more, we can discuss that.

I hear that dems care about the environment, but results show otherwise. Are we to pretend that the regulations that send manufacturing to China is better for the environment?

Keep in mind that California is under complete dem control and the gap between the rich and poor is huge.

In the end, Trumps rose colored view of the virus turned out to be closer to the truth. His tax cuts do lessen the hindrance on businesses, but its not enough.

Are you kidding? Tax cuts = less revenue collected. Trump's tax cuts for the corporations and his rich sycophants have reduced federal income by trillions already, and will continue to dig a hole.

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/christ...r-deficits-in-expanding-economy/#4cc7c40566c4

Those tax cuts aren't helping anyone except those who are already extremely wealthy. That was the plan, man!

I respect your opinion that our government is responsible and should be trusted with even more of our money. I strongly disagree and feel that the extreme opposite is better for the country. Taxes and spending need to be slashed to a minimum. More money going to the government equals more poverty and a bigger gap between the rich and the poor. Dems have their own petri dish and results speak for themselves.

As pointed out the "Trump" death toll is 5% of the predicted "Trump" death toll.

That's a good old fashion ass kicking by Donald!

95% success rate saving American lives during a worldwide pandemic, that is downright historical!
