I'm not a Trump supporter. I can't support anyone! I'm not even American!

What you've provided is just a bunch of his stupidly positive 'everything is rosey' comments. So what? What damage did they cause, other than to himself? He banned travel from China in January, so clearly he took it at least somewhat seriously - yet you said that he did NOTHING! And as you point out, the "OFFICIAL US ACTIONS" were taken regardless of Trump's downplaying nonsense. If like a dictator, he prevented official actions from being taken, then you wouldn't get me defending the man!

Nope, I specifically said if Trump was in charge of the operations of ANY US health related agency,
then there would be no more America. Others are in charge of the operational stuff, but yes, Trump signs off on policy.

That’s really strange. The cdc is a public and presidential supplier of information. It supports enactment of policy ONLY by following presidential order. you talk like Trump is not the president, just a little put upon tinker bell.

Trump has final say of all actions taken by his cabinet . They don’t “operate” on their own. You have a strange idea how the government works.

I'm talking about the BRAINS at the CDC for example, who present scientific advice.

Why don’t you just go to the cdc web site and look up their mission statement instead of trolling.

And that will prove that Trump "was instructed by the cdc on the matter early on?" Which is what you said.

Look up the mission statement(s). Until you do, you’re just trolling.

You obviously didn’t bother to read the posts by others and me.

Nither are you referring to the mission statements of the cdc.

No it makes a point that on multiple previous occasions Trump was briefed about a pandemic

Trump believed his original 5 cases, and then, 15 cases would go down to near zero. However, CDC’s Nancy Messonier believed community spread was inevitable.

In other words, back on February 17, were all briefed by Trump and Nancy Messonnier.

Note: Nancy Messonnier was the first health official who contradicted Trump at same briefing. Back then, Trump and his administration didn’t like her too much, and the right-wing media tried to discredit her.

So what you're saying is that we should have left the barn door open after the first horse escaped, allowing all the other horses to escape as well? Why let a trickle turn into an avalanche?

Pandemics will always exist. That's the point.

You mean the POTENTIAL for pandemics will always exist?

I have no idea what you’re trying to say. But at least you know that the primary mission of the cdc is as an information gatherer and disseminator. They advise the president. Trump chooses to disregard them and promote happy talk and try to enact do nothing policies, pretty much what he has done to the economy.

We have posted the chronology of cdc findings and the Trump doing nothing but disregarding them and dismantling the cdc. Deal with it.

There you go.....another denial of facts.
Trump was obviously successful in spreading lies.

I'm saying that no pandemic existed at that point. Only for the potential for one.
