    Probably not. Some men think that women need to be brought to heel. Where have I heard that phrase before? Oh yeah, Hillary Clinton. Something about "super predator" blacks need to be "brought to heel".

    I bet you thought you were being funny. In reality, that is their sort of thinking. I live in a near suburb and the day following this asshats proclamation, our local gun store (none in Minneapolis proper as guns are icky), has a line at least fifty yards long waiting to buy guns, ammo, or both. Shotguns were first out the door. I look forward to Saturday to see how many new student signups for classes and training.

    This will, of course, go nowhere. After a metric butt tonne of taxpayer dollars are wasted for nothing accomplished, it'll be the same old police force it was before.

    All of the liberal fantasies will hit the brick wall of reality, just like they always do.

    Why don't we hear them talking about how they are going to decrease the incidents of crime committed by the black community so there doesn't have to be all the encounters with the police? Why don't we hear how they are going to train the black community on how not to resist arrest and attack police officers lawfully carrying out their duties?

    why would justice reform to get rid of bad cops cause law abiding citizens to leave?

    bystander laws are the most needed, as good cops need to protect the people from bad cops

    no one could protect Floyd from this killer cop, other than good cops, had a citizen tried to stop this bad cop, they would be dead today as well

    I treat every individual I meet with respect until they lose it. At the same time, we all stereotype specific groups of people, and recent violence by blacks has helped reinforce the stereotype of what they are and want. . As a whole, after this fiasco, black people aren't worthy of my respect and respect is earned, not just handed out freely. So blacks have to somehow impress me with their sincerity to want to be Americans and act like Americans; to quote every liberal politician extant, burning down buildings, looting and pulling white people out of cars so they can be beaten is not who we are. But I will treat any black person I meet as a fellow US American and with all the respect that deserves, but as a group, forget it .

    Good God you people are such drama queens. They're just going to do what Camden New Jersey did: End the city PD and turn it over to the county sheriffs who don't have a union. The union is what causes the problem

    This is an awesome example of just how authoritarian democrats like to be. F the troops, F the police, it's all about how they get to implement their little version of authoritarianism. But, and this is the kicker, it must be a union that fill the slots so they can extort money from said union.
