    This lefty mayor has gone plum partisan crazy. She's so pissed that she F'd up so bad early on and got national monuments and businesses trashed. Trump stepped in and no more of that and immediately ended the rioting making the mayor look like a complete idiot. Maybe we should name the north end of the street white lives matter and the perpendicular street Hispanic lives matter and one Asian lives matter....

    They'll say you're missing the point. (and being purposely obtuse)

    The actual quote should be "Black Lives Matter TOO". The last word is left unspoken because it removes any real impact from the slogan, but it is really obvious. Blacks are saying their lives matter right along with everyone else's not that they are the only ones.

    It becomes divisive and racist when it's about race and not about the unity of races. Race needs to not be a discussion. The more we use the color of peoples skin to decide what they are worth or their character the more racists will come out of the woodwork. We need to treat everybody equally from the start and stop using race as a determining factor on peoples outcomes. Its needs to be the person's choices that determine their outcome not the color of their skin. Racism can affect any and all races and is a disturbing reality we live in because we still use race to seperate people.

    Yes it does, it alters the entire meaning.

    The complaint is that nobody has to say that white lives matter, since the fact that white lives matter goes without saying, but Black Lives Matter too, get it?
