Trump says he hopes George Floyd 'looking down' and seeing today’s jobs numbers as 'a great day

I suppose if I was killed by the police and could look down and see job numbers, it would be a great day for me. Not because of the job numbers, but that I can still look around after Im dead!

Does not matter either way, signs on Wall Street and now in the job market that perhaps the stupid unneeded country wide shutdown might not have killed the economy after all . That's what matters. You know what we can do to make life better for everyone? Have a strong American economic recovery, and it appears we at least have a great start to that at this point.

It would not have been, you lefties have no thought process that can make it past your emotions. Anytime a country goes thru a great struggle and begins to rise out of it the people who died along the way are referred too. 2 weeks ago he was a nobody from a public perspective, now he is being mentioned by the POTUS in a speech about America back on the rise after the greatest economic devastation in close to 100 years. If you can not see the "greatness" in that then you are blind. What is wrong with you?

 

Hmmm...perhaps that the most powerful man in the world mentioned him in a celebratory speech about news that will positively effect 100s of millions of Americans of all races? Maybe that....

By now you have been informed that the news organization lied about what Trump was referring to; because in reference to Floyd he was talking about proposed changes to police organizations and not the economy. Well, I can't speak for liberals, but I'd appreciate it if he would say something intelligent once in awhile. That would be nice.

 

Trump obviously is happy that the unemployment numbers are good. Everyone is happy about that unemployment is down. It needs to get down to 3.4 % before we break out the champaigne.

Trump obviously lies, exaggerates, brags, and takes credit for positive economic indicators. He did that in that speech.

Now Trump's mentioning George Floyd in that speech and Trump fantasising that George is smiling about economic numbers is nothing but sick self serving BS by Trump but so very predictable. It is self serving because Trump thinks that Afro-Americans will vote for him just because he mentions George. Or he thinks mentioning George along with good economic indicators somehow gives him the right to lie that he Trump raised the economic status of Afro-Americans. Or maybe Trump thinks that mentioning George with economic good news is going to make Afro-Americans love him.

This is a sad sick state of affairs that this so called POTUS has sunk us into.
