The tuck rule? That was only getting the Raiders back for that Stabler “Holy Roller” forward fumble.

How could things be worse than a Trump presidency?

Even with an unemployment rate of 3.5%, the country has had an average annual growth rate of 2.3% (before the virus).

Obama did 2.1%, with a balance budget....

Inflation has remained very low. So, despite full employment, there was no growth in domestic consumption.

Trump's economic wars had two major impacts:

    - There were no new deals that were REALLY good for the US.
    - China's retaliatory measures curbed exports and cost at least 1% of domestic growth.

This means that the middle class and the poor have not benefited from the tax cuts. Since 2016, the gap between rich and poor has widened.

Before the pandemic, the debt/GDP ratio was already at a worrying level (107% of GDP). But today, with the stimulus and the unemployment rate, it's almost certain that the credit agencies will lower the credit rating of the US.

    It's leaking everywhere.

And what does Biden (and the majority of the American people) want? A mixed health care system.

The US is the last nation in the West not to have one.

Would the situation really be worse the 4 years of chaos that the country has just gone through... on top of the 110,000 deaths partialy due to a pandemic that Trump has refused to take seriously for several weeks?

That's the advantage of a Trump Strong Economy.

The "Trump Strong Economy" is a myth that doesn't stand up to any serious analysis.

Conservatives really need to get over this dumb idea that Trump would be likable if not for the "liberal media." Trump is an *******.

If I was a leftist I would be in an insane asylum by now. They throw everything at him and it bounces off. He is bulletproof and it drives them bananas.

Do you really think so? The economy seems to be recovering and people are horrified by rioting and looting and will flock to the law and order candidate, look at Nixon vs McGovern. Plus eventually they're going to have to let Joe Biden out and actually let him campaign which is hardly a good thing. Also consider it's a question of not just support but turnout and how badly the polls got it wrong last time.

I wish I could disagree with you about much of this, but I cannot.

Speaking from the perspective of being a person who reached retirement age in 2016, I can say that the 'Trump economy' has been a great disappointment, but in my view it had already BEEN a bust for people like me since August 2007, when the Federal Reserve bank combine completely took over the entire of the economy of the United States.

"W" Bush and Obama were both perfectly willing to let the 'Fed' and its operatives (carefully placed in high positions of power in both administrations) employ all their 'magic tricks' to rescue those it considered to be too big to fail -- the 'quantitative-easings' (I, II, III), along with 'Operation Twist', so-called 'bond-buying' that racked up an enormous balance sheet made up of toxic corporate paper and other trash -- along with value-destroying, excess money 'printing', and, deliberately CRUSHING interest rates, even though the demand for credit and cash has been acute -- non-stop -- for the past 13 years!

I could go on and on, but suffice to say, anybody who responsibly managed their money, avoided debt, and created savings accounts has been brutally screwed under all three presidents -- "W" Bush, Obama, and now, Trump!

The question then, how would electing a decayed, senile, liberal puppet like Joe Biden going to make anything better, or more 'fair' for the 'Rational Middle-Class' of American citizen taxpayers? Honestly, I don't see it.

Under Biden, liberal manipulators who pull his strings will saddle us with more taxes, higher taxes, and, worse, predictably continue to allow the Federal Reserve combine to keep total control of an economy that is by now so totally subverted to the will of international central banks that we may have lost control of our own American economy forever.... And in place of the free-market capitalist system that made the USA the greatest economic powerhouse civilization ever produced, in a Biden regime we'll have 'Socialism-lite', where 'Peter' is robbed endlessly to pay for 'Paul', dependency on the government becomes increasingly pervasive, and inflation will soar to heights not seen since the Stagflation days of the 1970's.

We're going to have to pay off the debt someday.

The Republicans are such big spenders that they leave the government no flexibility when a crisis occurs.

If nothing is done, the U.S. will become as economically paralyzed as Japan.

And if my worst fears are realized, our national "pipedream" will go out forever, and there will only be ashes left....

Neither Trump nor Biden will be 'good' for this country -- but a worse wretchedness for us can at least be 'postponed' with an extension of Trump's administration. Saying that gives me no 'joy', but Biden? Joe Biden, and the devious hyperliberal, America-hating scum that will pull his strings would be much, much worse....

Whoever has asserted that? I don't need to "like" the guy. We just need to watch him dismantle the leftist deep state and all of it's tentacles while he's in office. That will suffice nicely. And frankly, likable isn't a standard adults use in these matters. And the press is failing to understand that they simply cannot write fantasy and pass it off as reality when the public understands that it is exactly what the left believes they have the power to do through their pet media.

It's as dishonest as when movies studios branded folks like Rock Hudson and refused to admit he was gay. And folks do see through it, no matter how many disgruntled liberal writers attempt to continue the charade.

Republicans AND Democrats are responsible for getting us in the horrible economic mess we're in now, Arkanis. It took 'two-to-tango'....

Trump is the big cheerleader for the stock market casinos, and he obviously cares about little else except what's good for Wall Street.

Biden, on the other hand, is the totally predictable shill for Democrat handout-welfare-for-vote ploys that Democrats have practiced expertly since the time of their great Democrat demi-god, Frankie Roosevelt, in the 1930's! Lyndon Johnson was FDR's star-pupil, and he leveraged welfare programs to Democrat Party favor while he was president. Joe Biden is cast from the same mold....

Considering the amount of rigging of the election done by the dems, and the awesome amount of voter fraud by the dems (at least 5 million fraudulent votes) it is a miracle we were spared an HRC administration, it would have been even more corrupt than Obama's. I see God's hand in Trump's election victory and we need to give thanks to the Lord, everyday, and pray for another 4 years; and then pray for Ted Cruz and other Godly candidates after that (I really like Crenshaw too!)

So you admit that Trump isn't likable but you're upset that the media is portraying him as unlikable? This is why I can't take you seriously.
