How much could he fight back if he was already in handcuffs?

    Body cams might provide enlightenment.

Beyond reasonable doubt is a tough one.

Lets not forget what started the whole thing. A person with a history of criminal offences, hyped up on drugs, attack police officers when he was arrested.

There is no evidence of resistance and remember they have the body cams with audio.

The issue, as always, is the way the law is written there are loopholes, if you will, and exceptions carved out for police officers. In other words they have opportunities to defend themselves than the general public would have if charged with the same crime.

Receiving a conviction here will be extremely difficult.

You can't watch the video and lie to yourself--you'll lose your self-respect.

The most powerful statement yet on George Floyd, Captain David Dorn, Protests, Riots, and Police.

It starts at 15 minutes. I've now moved closer to wanting the death penalty--life without parole, bare minimum--for Derek Chauvin. But not because a white cop killed a black man, but because a man as a police officer tortured a citizen, a free man, to death; because Derek Chauvin committed premeditated murder upon George Floyd, a man whose only sin was wanting to buy food during a pandemic.

I cried as I listened, its that powerful. And that's because it is right on target.

    The prosecution rests.

Dude the prosecutor in the OJ case planted ****ing evidence at the scene and blew his credibility with the jury.
    That's not an issue here.

I doubt it, look at the Rodney King officers. Only 2 out of four convicted, those only for 30 months and they were out in 10. Koon published his book and became a chauffer, Powell got into computers. As I've said a big blue safety net out there always willing to help them out.

No he didn't, OJ got off because the cop who found the 2nd glove was exposed as a racist.

And I'm sure the fact that the blood found at the scene was from a blood sample OJ gave to rule himself out and not found in situ had not a damn thing to do with the credibility of the police and DA.

I didn't read any of the responses your post garnered. I ask you, in all sincerity, would this be a question if it was a poor, uneducated person and/or minority facing charges? I honestly don't believe it would be. Why is a "fair trial" only a question for SOME people and not every person facing charges?
