Yeah, and you can't even get a right winger to bake a cake for gay couples.

One thing I see on the left, that I do not see on the right, is the willingness to criticize their own.
Many on the left, such as Bill Maher, slams those universities that deny extreme right wingers to give speeches at particular universities.
Find me a Senate Republican or Fox News host in prime time that will criticize the president for his excesses? You got Romney, and that's about it, but you sure as hell won't find Hannity criticizing the prez.
    Vacuous unsubstantiated allegations.

    Got evidence?

    I didn't think so.

By the way, three generals and one admiral, all of whom are republicans, are advising America not to vote for Trump.

I'll see your 'university free speech issue" and raise you 'Trump's firing of DNI chief Joe Maguire".

    Because you cannot illustrate it.
You cannot meaningfully define what you mean by "had", and you cannot soundly demonstrate that we have been.

Oh, you'll try, and when your attempts are discredited, you'll cut and run.

You don't see this on the left.

This is a non sequitur: you just posted a link after your statement, even though it does not corroborate it. He never said that he accepted the Russian interference in the 2016 election.

I don't think he was joking. Prima facie, by simply taking what he said out of context, it does sound as if he is asking the Russians to interfere, but the media does not report on what he said earlier.

Russians were already interfering in the election, and he did not like it. In fact, before he made that infamous comment, he said this about the Russian interference: "If it is Russia, it's really bad for a different reason, because it shows how little respect they have for our country when they would hack into a major party and get everything." (1) He then went on to say that if they're hacking, hopefully they find the emails. Now do I think that was morally just? No. But I argue he said that because he wanted Clinton brought to justice. He saw the typical pattern of a member of the establishment getting away with a crime, and he wanted the deleted emails recovered.

But let's say that context did not exist, and he was, out of the blue, asking Russia to interfere, what does that have to do with the premise of my original post? My premise was that the tweet that you posted had at least one lie inside of it--that Trump gained power by accepting foreign interference. You still have not shown evidence that Trump won the presidency via foreign interferene. Trump did not win the presidency via Russian interference. In fact, even Rod Rosenstein said that not a single vote was changed by Russian interference (2).

    Unsupportable nonsense.
No rational or reasoned person, taking the quote in the entirety of the context in which it was made, could ever reach that conclusion.
    Disagree?
    Demonstrate.

Trust me, 8 years of Obama idiocy woke us up pretty well, thank you.

Oh, maybe pepper spraying the clergy from that very church for a photo op, from a phony, who is a piss poor example of what he's supposedly supporting. Oh IDK why that would bother anyone. Maybe you can go to some classes somewhere and do some reseach and figure it out?

I wasn't trying to prove that he won by foreign interference, only that the welcomed it. He was certainly open to it, as evidenced by the Stephanopolous interview in the Oval office.

Only a highly partisan person would stte he was joking. If you listen to the blurb, he was dead serious, and I explain why.

    You are talking 'nonsense'.

As expected, you are unable to demonstrate how or why a rational reasoned person would create the conclusion you do.
    Thanks.

So then you agree that the line that he won by foreign interference is a lie, and I was right to point that out then, yes?

Watch Bill Maher, he criticizes liberals all the time, and liberals on the show, agree with him.
I see no right version of same.

"Had", in the context given, means 'conned'. It's a common expression. Common expressions are not normally defined, because, well,

    THEY ARE COMMON.

    Duh.

I've watched Bill Maher since Politically Incorrect.

He went from rational to irrational, and he somehow describes himself as a libertarian, even though he is for Obama Care, which makes no sense whatsoever.

When he criticizes leftists (not liberals), there are some groans in the audience, but mostly clapping. The reason for the clapping is because there is a sign that tells the trained seals in the audience to clap, not because they agree / understand what he is saying.

I didn't think Hillary possessed those qualities either, or at least not in a greater degree than President Trump. I don't think Biden does either.

Trump seems to “support” the Christian faith when it benefits him. He cleared away protesters for a photo.
Trump doesn’t seem to have any empathy toward what some Americans are suffering.

Trump is working hard to kill the ACA, even during the pandemic. Even Barr advised Trump to wait until after the election ( then kill it, wonderful ). If they succeed, noting that they have no replacement plan, some 20,000,000 Americans will lose their heath care.

Hillary, when she was first lady, proposed a UHC bill, but the right shot it down. In fact, UHC was part of the Clinton's campaign message, a big part of it in 1992. Biden co-sponsored the ACA with Obama, which worked for me very well. I'm on medicare now, and repubs want to privatize it? That would be the death of it. The last republican president to offer a UHC plan was Nixon, but it was more of a fleeting gesture, he didn't fight for it like the Clinton's did, like Obama did ( and won). No, dems are no choir boys and girls, but they beat the pants off of republicans in the desire to bring univeral health care to the citizens.

I'll have to disagree, based on the evidence.
