That one is unusual. What's not to like about a main line injection of a chemically puffed sugar bomb?

That's really nice of you. Thanks.

I started painting an acrylic on pine for the bar. I need to work more on it and Ill post it when its done. I think maybe it would go good in the corner of the new bar where we go to rest our eyes and sleep it off for a while.

I'm a sort of standoffish person. I've been loving the six feet of space. I'll probably be having panic attacks once this ends.

I cannot begin to tell you the significance of that word :
    - PoP
That is what Ohioans call Soda Pop.Just Pop.
    Not Coke or Pepsi.Just Pop.
I bet I never went a day in summer as a kid w/o hearing the
    word Pop.
I loved Pop.Almost adored it.But growing up I was not allowed
to consume Pop at Home, except for special occasions.Like
Holidays. But in the summer on weekends at our Summer Home
or before we had the Summer built,on our Boat at Cedar Point,
    Pop was allowed.
I remember once going to Family Picnic at our Family Doctors
home. His sons were really stout and hearty.Good athletes even
though chunky. They had a couple steel garbage cans filled with
ice and water and Pop,located around their smallish Farm property.
I'll never forget how many cans/bottles of Pop I drank that day.
I drank 11.Over the space of a few hours.I never got sick.
Unlike kissing a girl you are forced to by Parents waiting with
bated breath to announce how much you Like.
I never drink Pop anymore.NEVER Buy.Sometimes in the
summer I'll go to McD's and get a Cheeseburger with a
    Dr.Pepper.Maybe once every 3 weeks.Maybe s'not.

Howdy party people - greetings from Ye Olde Dominion.

All hell's breaking loose out here, but it's time to focus on things that really matter, like beer.

Here's a pic I took earlier in the week of my latest homebrew - a Spring Maibock - which also happens to be my first all-grain brew (ya!):

    MAIBOCK2.JPG

This spent 2 weeks in primary fermentation, 2 months in secondary and required only 2 1/2 weeks of bottle conditioning. ABV 6%.

I've never had a Maibock before and I'm now a big fan of this style. It's got a nice body and balance between the malts and hops. I'll definitely be brewing this again.

Happy Saturday, y'all. Talon, beer sounds wonderful. Got enough to stock the bar? We pay premium rates (in monopoly money, of course).

Another hot one in Dallas. Will be cutting & pasting this phrase for the next 4 months!

    In case you're bored...

I found an Alabama fence lizard being torchered by my cat and performed a rescue. I gave it to my daughter because she wanted a Bearded Dragon. I figured this fence lizard would be good practice. Never having thought much about buying crickets my daughter bought 2 jars of freeze dried crickets. The lizard wouldn't eat them. My fish wouldn't eat them. I also have some pond pellets that they just spit out. Except the goldfish, they eat the pellets. Went to a yard sale and bought a blender for 2.00. Ground up freeze dried crickets and pond pellets. I also had some frozen Salmon no one was gonna eat. I boiled about a cup of water and added one packet of unflavored gellitan. I added the salmon to the boiling water and used the water in the blender to form a slurry. The cats go crazy and I have to give them some fish. I take the slurry and spread it on a cookie sheet. Bake till almost dry and freeze. The fish love it.
