    It means that the state and federal government cannot kill you without sanction from court.
    But it also doesn’t mean a state must prosecute murders, thefts, or other crimes.

    Dems are saying it’s just one big party. It will be a “Summer of Love” or Woodstock.

    That’s not how conservatives see it. What would happen if the Tea Party took over mid-town Manhattan and extorted money from businesses?

    I would not. The chance of escalation into other areas and right wing groups doing the same is too great. It's a powder keg, I would not let it simmer and hope it burns out.

    Seems the police chief never wanted to evac that area, did so under the orders of a weak knee politician. I hope she retakes it.

    That was my point - constitution, in and of itself, does not even guarantee or protect life. It’s a state matter.
    So, these goons in the Zone are not interfering with any constitutionally sanctioned rights.
    Therefore, for now, Trump has no legal basis for triggering that law that authorizes the feds to come to the state uninvited.

    1. They are not protestors, they are rioters.
    2. I favor law and order, not anarchy. That is not a political ideology.
    3. I have no interest in anyone getting hurt or killed, but I have no pity for those that are if it occurs during the commission of a crime.

    1. No, they are not rioting at all.
    2. Law and order does not include violating people's rights. It seems you have forgotten that ours is a government of, by and for the people, not a authoritarian regime.
    3. What crime is being committed? Do you feel that way about all crimes, no matter how insignificant? Should a jaywalker be hurt or killed?

    2. Have you forgotten or do you choose to ignore the rights of the people who live and work in that area? Here is a hint, they are being violated by the rioters.
